Mentors

We all need help learning, so I thought this might help.

I need a mentor for my higher level dreaming
as do those who need one who are just starting out. :D

this post is for those whom would like or would like to be a mentor

list your abilites and/or needs and hopefully someone will be able to respond, if not myself. we all need different types, too, so don't be afraid to be specific. Soem need sleep tips, some need meditation technique, others just need confirmation, and the boards system is so clogged with newbie questions that I think half get ignored.

any who want, we can send specified e-mail, 'directions' to good reads in the forum, and provide any other help we can ;)

Personally:

I need help with my meditation on a really high level.
I need help finding a path in life that agrees with lucidity.
I need help understanding communication gaps in dreaming and meditatio
I need help learning to protect myself in an astral sense
I need help adding happiness throughout my waking hours, besides sleep.
I need help with advanced shamanism (psychadelic mostly)
I need help coming to terms with my bad dreams from the past.

If I can find someone who knows this stuff, my life will be forever changed. I really need some guidence for this overabundence of personal power, cause right now, when I act, my karma will not let me succeed cause it's not 'truth' it's not 'good.' Maybe though, my path is no path at all...that's fine too :P but these are the things that get to me.

I am a mentor, and I know quite alot but I dont know if I can handle your level, and I doubt if anybody in this forum could..

but my first word of advice for you would be,I said it before, dont be to greedy for wisdom and power. Do not hunger for knowledge and skill, so dont even ask for highly advanced meditation skills and dont ask for advanced shamanism skills either..this atracts the wrong people. Magicans with wrong intentions, black ones, corrupt ones..who might learn you things that will only come back to you.

You said yourself, you dont know how to handle your personal power? Your karma won't let you? Perhaps you aquired to much power then you are supposed to, in my eyes we should not get to powerful, it upsets that balance. And if we are powerful we should not try and enhance that power even further(to a certain extend)

As for your personal, pshysical life, well another word of advice might be to take it all less serious. Find purpose in this life aswell, for me it is helping others. Or go travel, or work in an international developement programm and help poor people in 3rd world countries. Find your calling.
Thats all I can say about that, lucidity doesnt require a full time detication.
Nothing does, everything in due time. Take it slow

Now as for your bad dreams..I think thats pretty obvious. You must face them. With no violence. Create and image of them during meditation or during a dream. You must not use violence no matter what happens. I dont know if you've tried..but you must talk to them. As them who they really are, and why they are doing it.(did it) Ask if you can do anything for them, if they are in need of help. I take it these dreams are inner demons, your own demons, and not demons of the astral. So you will need to make peace with them.

Astral projection..an easy method is just if your good at WILD, just do WILD when you are meditating..I thought I recalled that your fairly good at WILD so..and if your good at med too that should work. Remember the dreamworld is the astral so no fancy tricks are needed perse. Though this way might take a while, but it works becuase some techniques cant be explained.

Well, thats all I can tel your right now..I cannot be your mentor, your on a too high level for me. After all, a mentor should be on a higher level then his pupil. I dont know in what sense I am, but Im certainly not on a much higher level if at all. Youn exeed me on certain areas for sure..

happiness in your waking life is a choice not a state, you must remember that regardless of what happens...remember its all how you perceive things, you should know this...as your mind expanded and you realized more truths about the world around you, did not your life as a whole, how things happened, how you felt, changed? remember you can control your perception, you can control the filter through which all things must go before they reach you, in this sense, we can choose to never allow anything to sadden or depress us...not to necessarily hide from that which is sad or depression, but rather to choose not to let it get to us, not to get us down...in this aspect alone could i help you, and poorly in that, too...i do not think i could be any sort of mentor...

...however if anybody cares to be my mentor i need somebody to give me the willpower i dont have...i have direction, i have dedication, but in any skill or endeavour i undertake i need someone to tell me i have to keep persueing it, as i seem unable to force myself
