the new difficulty of third person perspective dreaming...
i'm somewhat stuck on a hangup.any advice would be appreciated.
up until about a week ago my dreams were almost always in the first person. if perspective switched outside my dreambody, it was only very brief. gaining lucidity merely involved realizing i was a character in a bizarre situation.
however, lately it seems all my dreams are from the third perspective, and many seem like some bizarre independent film. i'm finding its really hard to gain lucidity while dreaming like this.
its hard to do a reality check when my awareness isn't in a body, its just a floating camera, panning over whichever scene is happening. even if "i" happen to be in a scene, i have no connection with my identity as "asher".
i simply watch it disinterestedly like a time-worn movie critic.
if anybody else has experienced this type of dreaming and has any suggestions, that'd be awesone. or if this post is unclear, i could clarify what i mean (i'm a little stoned :o )
