I once had a dream I was underwater and could breathe. Felt great :D
Sometimes I have to do an RC just to convince myself that I'm awake o.O
Yer, me too, especially late at night, or when i hear a random noise
I remember when I looked at a digital alarm clock in a dream once. Instead of saying the time, it said -0:01. That would have been the PERFECT giveaway, but I just brushed it off and thought it was how much time I had left to do something.

So did you sit in your bed? or did you get up and do something in your LD? or did you just sit there?
Good point. If you are aware enough in a dream to deliberately attempt a RC...chances are you're already lucid. Most LDs I get are just the chance of becoming lucid. Aside from flying, which is something I've done in non-lucid dreams, the other times that I've become lucid were from realizing that something was out of order. So i guess if you've trained yourself to do things out of habit then perhaps you could do them while in a non-prelucid state or, whatever. Tired, not sure what I;m trying to say. Took some b6 and melatonin and valerian, let's see what happens :DQuote:

If you are in a dream and are lucid enough to think about doing a reality check, you probably don't need it anyway.. Don't you?
So far no reality check has worked for me. I just know I am dreaming. I just happen to notice the distinctly different state of consciousness when I'm dreaming. If only I could notice it all the time...
I am however working on a new technique at harvesting LDs. I'll post that in a new topic.
i WOULD do the mirror one, but i wouldn't want somethin in the mirror to scare the sh*t out of me.               :makeitstop: :mandel:
