Willpower, of course.
If you don't complete the punishment, you phail and your subconcious realises it doesn't have to give you what you want, because you won't punish it.

man we all sound like parents now lol
I HAVE PHAILED...
I tried it, my subconcious didn't give me a LD. Then I let myself off...
Well, it seems to have worked for me...atleast I think it did.
So, I ran up and down my mountain side for punishment yesterday. Before I went to bed last night I told myself I better have a lucid or I will add a extra punishment each time I dont. So, later I woke up at 3:30 and took some B6. I then woke up a little later and noticed I had ''Lucid dream, finally'' Wrote in my dream journal. But I do not recall any lucid dream or even writing it down last night. :?
I think my subconscience is more clever than I thought it was. Maybe my subconscience wrote it down while I was sleeping just to get out of the punishments, and try to make me believe I hade a lucid... :|
So, anyways, I'm still going to continue on with this technique to see what happens.
Nah, I don't think it's that good. But maybe. Check it again, you may have had an FA, in which "Lucid dream, finally" was written down.
Tell your subconcious not just to make you lucid, but also tell it to commit the lucid dream to memory.
well it seems to be almost working. good job
I'd rather try n easier technique then punishing myself though ;)
