This sounds likea good idea,although from hearing about everybody who has tryed it, it seems a little confusing....but if you say it works i'll try.
I'm going to attempt this again tonight. It seems easy enough to remember what to do after you wake up. I'll post again tomorrow with the results.
oh and you can also wake up in the 1st
REM period. i just wake up later because i cannot hear my alarm if its early.
Alright I did this last night instead of VILD which I thought about doing, and I guess it works, but I lost lucidity soon after, well success rate right now is 1/1.

I tried this last night, I had one LD with the method, I wasn't fully Lucid and I didn't have complete control but it was induced by the Finger Movement method, weather I was doing them in a dream or not, because the RC was Sucessfull.
I think I was on the verge of a second, I felt a falling sensation like I was going super fast, and it got really intense and I just woke up, I knew if I didn't do that I probably would've had a second LD.
This one works but I didn't have a really Vivid LD.
increase vividness by spinning or rubbing hands

Another thing I did is put the blanket over my head when I do this, so that when I become Lucid, I can say when I take it off, I'll be wherever I want, is that a good idea?
Or could the sudden transition take me away from Lucidity?

Uh, maybe you should fix your original post to say "DO NOSE RC NO MATTER WHAT" Instead of "BREATH THROUGH YOUR NOSE NO MATTER WHAT" which is actually kind of confusing. Um, I do believe with the normal FILD you are supposed to go right back to sleep. Do you ever feel the transition? I'll give it a try tonight.
I didn't feel the transition from waking to dream, I think that's what the RC is for.
And try this tonight, It should work 100% if you do it right
i never feel anything. i do RC, i am lik woo yay im in a dream. then i get teleported to a dream world.

Hello, I am a "newbie" here. I am cruising the forum trying to feel my way around. I found your topic very interesting. As I have said before in a few posts. I have done this on my own due to saving my own sanity. So it is freaking my out that you guys have all these guidelines, moving a certain number of fingers or not, doing a reality check by only breathing through the nose and so forth. What if I do it differently, does this mean that I am doing it wrong? Or is it that you guys jsut provide a general field guideline for others that seems to simple work; yet, there are those of us, meaning me that have our own technique that works and it isn't wrong? Did that make any since? I don't know, I am nervous unbelievably, because I have yet made contact with anyone on the boards yet. No one has said hi. I feel like I am in a new school trying to feel myself around the play ground. Anyhow, I was just wondering about all of this thank you!

Yes they are just guidelines, it really (probably) doesn't matter how many fingers you're moving or for how long, they are just telling us what worked for them and how exactly they did it. If you are doing it another way and if it works, I don't see a reason to change it :) . There mostly is no right and wrong here, because it is a dream forum afterall and dreams differ from person to person.

Though our dreams differ, I see a pattern here for most on how to achieve their highest potential, I am hoping through understatnding and patience I can achieve my highest levels of LD and all that other jazz. I seriously need to figure this vocabulary “glossary” out, I have a printout as a cheat sheet. I haven’t yet got my own goodies placed underneath each word yet. I have decided that I should place at least once experience underneath each word definition so I know what I have done and what I have yet achieved. This is hard when I have made up my own glossary for everything. Its all good though, again thanks for the welcome. I hope do this right. :)

are all his, he explains them all in exploring the world of lucid dreaming

and then there are other technioques created by people o nthese boards or other ones
like FILD
HILD
of course the most common way of inducing a lucid is DILD, which you can help along using several differnt methods
then treres lucid aids like b6
but generally these are all suggestions and ways of helping people become lucid
if you hae a technique that helps you achieve lucidity and you cant find on these boards thats excellent, and itd be a good ida for you to make a thread about it and see hat reults other get
