My question is simple, but has been a big problem for me when I try to WILD.
I'm able to wake up early, stay up for about 30 minutes, and then get back in bed fine. I'm able to, except for the occasional unconcious twitch, lie completely still while counting upwards (although 400 is about my limit before I go insane). I am not, however, able to keep from swollowing or occasionally moving my tongue. I realise that this is part of my body; is it important to keep your mouth completely still when trying to WILD? If so, how on earth can I get rid of the spit and stuff?

i havent successfully WILDed yet, but from other posts, i gather that it is not so much the swallowing or itching (my personal problem) but dwelling on weather or not to swallow or itch. just swallow and dont even think/worry about it. think about it, when your falling asleep normally, you swallow plenty, and all through the night you're swallowing. but when your sleeping normaly you dont worry about it - just dont think about it and i think you will be fine :D

Try to get Zen about it.
When i fall asleep i am usually focusing on my breathing so that i am not distracted by anything else.
Eventualy that breathing becomes something of itself and not a part of me.
Since it isn't a part of me then i can begin to ignore that which got me to a state of concentraition in the first place.

I'll try that follower
