Look, I'm not trying on piss on the original poster's parade. If he would have said "Hey, I found something that's worked for me! You know DEILD? Well, do that ANYTIME you wake up during the night, whether it's from a dream or not." I would be right there saying, "Yes, I've done that myself and can verify that it does indeed work from time to time." The only issue I have is that it's being touted as something different when it's not.
It's funny how people are always so quick to tell new members that what they are talking about has a name, and then tell what the name is. But in this case, a few people missed that fact at the beginning and now are unwilling to retract their agreement that it's not an already-established method.
Either way:
It's a good method = agreed.
It's a "new method" = disagreed. It's just a different explanation of an old method.
But that doesn't mean it's any less valid or worthy.
I've already pointed out the facts. I'm done arguing about it.
