He has passed the test. :)
Very good.

Hi Hesiod,
YES, this course is perfect for beginners. It is also good for people who have had sporatic success, but want more regular lucid dreams. And for those who have regular lucid dreams who want to have the at will, any time they choose, while sleeping. Go over the basics can sometimes be very useful.
Look forward to see you join.
Don
Guess I need a clarification. Is this only for your lucid dreaming program or are you also offering the OBE one?
LD, I've got covered, it's OBE that I'm interested in pursuing.
Seeker, you've posted X10 posts!
Yeah, I hit submit and something weird happened O_o
That's where the software kicks in for me. :D
Hi Seeker,
If you are comfortable with the LD thing then I suggest you join the LD group so you can be of support to people who are very green.
Also, we will be covering how to go from a LD to an OBE in the LD course.
Yes, please join the OBE course. My email is:

Don
i sent u an email , im interested in joining but wont be participating in the game sesssions
Yo! Halloween, might I recommend changing your video game to second life?
It is free, and has way more to it than WoW could ever offer. You can even build your own world. It is far more like a dream than WoW could ever be, and you can also fly...well I don't think of it as flying as more of a means to get around, but it is flying and looks like flying, so its all good.
You can even customise your charectors to look just like you.
I used to have an account...I probably still do somewhere lol. I wouldn't mind playing that again hehe.
I checked it out and it's cool. I'm still leaning toward Guild Wars. Too many negative inputs about WoW.
Don
Hey halloween,
I was just wondering if knightlight was planning to take part in the course? And also how are you planning to work around time differences? does the course require members to be on at the same time or simply communicate through email at the next available opportunity?
Thanks
RooJ
Hey RooJ,
I've been in contact with knightlight lately but we did not discuss his moderater status. I'll bring it up next time I chat to him.
As for the time differences, it will only matter with the online gaming part of the course, which is optional. We'll figure it out for international gamers and also factor in the West coast East coast time differences.
The majority of the course will be monitored via a message board system. This way everyone can post and read updates at their own pace. Email will also be involved as will phone conversations using Skype for those wanting to talk with other members of the group personally. The amount of contact information each member shares with the group is optional. We will also have conference call capabilities for the whole group to talk at once, like a teleseminar, using the Guild Wars game. We'll create a special Hall for members only. I'm looking forward to that part of the course because I love playing online games and see the potential for Guild Wars to help with the investigation of Lucid Dreaming.
Be well,
Don
Second life is laggy and full of porn. But it's free.
:-\
I play the 2D, colorful MMORPG called NexusTK. I'll follow the course as best I can via that.
This sounds really promising. And it includes Guild Wars...hmm....
I'm more intrested in the Lding part, I've never had too much interest in
OBE's.
As of today we have 15 registered members!
The LD Online Course will now begin Tuesday, January 15th, 2008.
There's still room for more...
Don
I'm joining ;)
You have to register on the message board first at http://www.astralsource.com before I can give you special permissions to the Members Only Access section called, "Online Course."
Don
Hey,
So I just checked out Second Life in detail. I really think it's the ticket. For many reasons.
First, Guild Wars or WoW cost $30 minimum. SL if free!
Second, you can fly in SL! Very cool...
Third, there already exists a few small groups of LD and OBE members. So far I have not seen a "space" where people interested in these subjects can meet and chat using their headset/mic while seeing each other's avatars. I spoke to one member of the Astral Projection group and he said he is working on building such a place. I am now beginning to support him in any way I can. Once an actual virtual space is created we could all spread the word via our contacts. The population could grow in a significant way.
I would like some feedback from people reading this thread. Is www.SecondLife.com the answer?
Don
I think it is, its a pretty cool thing =). But I'm a little bias hehe.
Although the system Req. my cause a bit of a problem for dial up users.
Internet Connection*: Cable or DSL
Operating System: 2000, XP, or Vista
Computer Processor: 800 MHz Pentium III or Athlon, or better
Computer Memory: 512 MB or more
Video/Graphics Card for XP/2000**:
nVidia GeForce 2, GeForce 4 MX or better
OR ATI Radeon 8500, 9250 or better
OR 945 chipset
Video/Graphics Card for Vista (requires latest drivers)**:
nVidia GeForce 6600 or better
OR ATI Radeon 9500 or better
OR 945 chipset
I think anyone who still has dial up deserves eternal punishment in hell, among other things. Besides, would dialup users even be able to use GuildWars anyways?
we could be using SL and could be talking using a program called Vent. People use it all the time in MMORPG's whed doing raids where you need to talk to a lot of people
I've checked out Second Life. Seems good. Perfect for our uses, especially.
