Help attaining Lucidity
I would like to know what the best method would be in my situation. I am a total insomniac, but I've been taking 3mg of melatonin for two days. I'v been trying to LD for 5 days. I came close twice. Using the WBTB method. I want to know what else I can do. So if theres any other info you need, to determine athe optimal method(s) please ask.

If you find you wake up during the night on your own, but are able to easily fall back to sleep, you may want to try the FILD or MILD techniques.
Basically, if you wake up but didn't just have a dream, do a FILD.
If you wake up and just had a dream, do a MILD.
But really, you will have the most luck with lucidity if you get good sleep. This may even mean you have to take a prescription sleep-aid for a while.

I'd be careful with sleep aids other than melatonin though, some can cause dependences which are definitely yucky. I find meditation to help me sleep better (however I am not an insomniac), so maybe try that a little bit.

Don't try a WILD. If you have trouble falling asleep, the WILD method will be harder than another method, most likely.
If you have trouble staying asleep (but not falling back asleep), maybe you can catch a couple natural FILDs and DEILDs.
I think that a species of DILD is your best bet.
