I have an idea for a RC that goes along with other RCs... Let's say you try the nose technique... I think it would be more effective if you say "Am I dreaming right now?" After the RC you should say "No because if I was dreaming I would be able to breathe." I also think that once a day you should partially cover up your nose because then you will have an easier time realizing that breathing means that you're in a dream... I remember someone said that they tried an RC in a dream and they could breathe but they got confused and didn't think that it was a lucid dream... So after you partially cover up your nose you should say "I am in a lucid dream because I can breathe out of my nose." You also have to be serious and make it sound convincing to your mind...
I'm not sure if this would work with attaining lucid dreams but you might as well give it a try...
