Last night I was going to try my first WILD... I set my alarm clock at 4:50AM because that time just felt right... I woke up at 2:30AM and then went back to sleep... Should I have tried to WILD at 2:30 or continue with the 4:50 time??? Would waking up in the middle of the night too many times effect the chances of a WILD???
usually right after a REM period (where dreams happen) you will have a brief awakining because you are at the end of a sleep cycle]. But you fall right back to sleep so you dont remember. I dont think waking up a couple of times a night would effect your attempts too bad. But when we start talking of waking up like 7-8 times a night, then you might start having some trouble with the attempt.Quote:

I fell asleep at 12:00... I want to be tired when I'm attempting a WILD... Maybe 11:30 would've been a better idea...Quote:

Just try to have a steady sleeping time. if you have been going to bed at 12:00 everynight, keep going to sleep at that time.
Your best chance is to WILD after 5-6 hours of sleep. After that time, your brain tries it's best to enter REM sleep. At this time, you will also have your best and most vivid LDs.
I was reading your WILD technique and saw that I should sleep for 5-6 hours... I'm a huge fan... I also heard about sleeping for 4-6 hours from some other thread but I guess I should stick to the same amount of sleep for the same technique...Quote:
