Waking up too many times for a WILD???

Last night I was going to try my first WILD... I set my alarm clock at 4:50AM because that time just felt right... I woke up at 2:30AM and then went back to sleep... Should I have tried to WILD at 2:30 or continue with the 4:50 time??? Would waking up in the middle of the night too many times effect the chances of a WILD???

usually right after a REM period (where dreams happen) you will have a brief awakining because you are at the end of a sleep cycle]. But you fall right back to sleep so you dont remember. I dont think waking up a couple of times a night would effect your attempts too bad. But when we start talking of waking up like 7-8 times a night, then you might start having some trouble with the attempt.

Should I have tried to WILD at 2:30 or continue with the 4:50 time?
If it were me, I would have waited till 4:50.

What time did you go to sleep?

I fell asleep at 12:00... I want to be tired when I'm attempting a WILD... Maybe 11:30 would've been a better idea...

Just try to have a steady sleeping time. if you have been going to bed at 12:00 everynight, keep going to sleep at that time.

Your best chance is to WILD after 5-6 hours of sleep. After that time, your brain tries it's best to enter REM sleep. At this time, you will also have your best and most vivid LDs.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I was reading your WILD technique and saw that I should sleep for 5-6 hours... I'm a huge fan... I also heard about sleeping for 4-6 hours from some other thread but I guess I should stick to the same amount of sleep for the same technique...
