this might sound a little dumb, but i was just wondering what is the point of having good dream recall? is it only good for when you want to have DILDs? i just started thinking about this and i am drawing a blank. could someone please tell me what is so important about having good recall?
mannn if your interested in lds, dont you think if you have an ld, wouldnt you like to remember it?
For all you know, you are a natural lucid dreamer, but can't remember them. Maybe you have had lucid dreams in the past, but can't remember them happening.
Good recall puts an end to that.
Recall helps with everything. As it improves, the detail and length of dreams remembered will increase, giving you more time to become lucid and more experience with the "dream feeling." Besides, it's fun to remember some really wacky dreams every now and then.:P
k, thanks. i was just wondering that because having good recall is stressed so much, i thought that it was important for lucids. but i guess i know understand that it is more for your benefit. thanks a lot!
Recall also familiarizes you with the 'feeling' of dreaming, which can be immensely useful.
I agree with all of the posts here, i'm just too lazy to say it myself. It's important.
