When I am tired or entering sleep I get repeated zapping/popping sounds in my left ear.
Even now writing this I am getting them,as I am tired. They last a few seconds and go away till another wave of tiredness comes.
I thought this must be neurones or something electric charging in my left-side of my brain.
Any thoughts?

I had them before while trying to WILD in the afternoon, it only happened once. It's sounds like something electrical popping, it's very real and I thought my computer was making it but it isn't cause it was off. I think neurons don't go buzzz....it's just your mind zonking out of conciousness. Sometimes it's possible to experience full blown hallucinations too when tired but that's rare, I had those before...scary and random and follows your fears.Quote:

Oh, yesterday, I was hearing a long and high hissing and I was really excited because it meant I was really close. I started concentrationg on it so it doesn't leave. it did eventually.
