      Zapping/Popping sound

When I am tired or entering sleep I get repeated zapping/popping sounds in my left ear.
Even now writing this I am getting them,as I am tired. They last a few seconds and go away till another wave of tiredness comes.
I thought this must be neurones or something electric charging in my left-side of my brain.

      Any thoughts?

I don't remember having something similar

However, I do rememver hearing someone at school whining about it

And everyone seemed to agree that, in fact, it was annoying...

Other than that i don't know much...

At least you know its not something abnormal

I had them before while trying to WILD in the afternoon, it only happened once. It's sounds like something electrical popping, it's very real and I thought my computer was making it but it isn't cause it was off. I think neurons don't go buzzz....it's just your mind zonking out of conciousness. Sometimes it's possible to experience full blown hallucinations too when tired but that's rare, I had those before...scary and random and follows your fears.

Hey yall, its been a long time since my last post, I think 2006!? But funny I should come across this subject because last night when I was very nearly about to drift into a deep sleep, I experienced a weird (I know how to spell this word now thanks to Mitzie) buzzing noise that was like a bee zooming across my brain from right to left. It startled me awake and it scared the shit outta me! It was very real, but I've never had anything like it before. Is this kinda what you meant?

Oh, yesterday, I was hearing a long and high hissing and I was really excited because it meant I was really close. I started concentrationg on it so it doesn't leave. it did eventually.
