woohoo who'da thunk it......
So I've been reading around in threads and such to find out different things to do to increase my chances of dreaming lucidly or at least to start remembering my dreams...... And I saw a lot of people talking about how when they stopped smoking pot they remembered more of their dreams.
Of course, while reading this I was like......whhoooaaa no wayyyy man, it couldn't possibly have an impact on that (damn I'm a burnout...
But yeah, I tried it... didn't smoke yesterday and this morning I remebered parts, not all, but at least some, of a couple of my dreams..... which hasn't happened in like a month.....hmmmm maybe it's time to lay off the sauce :P

Alcohol will ruin your lucidity. Think of it this way, if it dulls your thoughts while awake, think how hard it will be for you to recognize you are dreaming while under the influence.
I've found that limiting myself to a glass of wine a night helps my lucidity a lot. Any more than that and I will have the most vivid dreams and sleep like a rock, but no lucidity. :(
