It depends. There's a quiz, made by Shift, that might help guide you a bit, but in the end you really just have to choose what you think will be the easiest/best for you. Reading a bit about all the methods will help you make an informed choice.
Also, not everyone experience scary voices or images when WILDing, it varies from person to person.
If there's a technique that scares you then just don't do it. Find something else that appeals to you. It's different for everyone on which technique is the most effective.
i can't believe this actually works i want to try wild but don't understand why i have to wake up in the middle of the night can anybody explain?
Waking up in the middle of the night (more specifically, about 4.5 hours after going to bed) makes it much easier and probable to have a successful WILD. At this time in your nightly sleep cycle, your body will have entered the REM stage, meaning you'll re-enter at that same position in the cycle.
