I've overcome my fear and nervousness about doing WILDs (even though I haven't had one yet). I tried a couple nights in a row, and I pretty much got nowhere. No vibrations, sleep paralysis, HI imagery, but I did get some *ahem* odd results. If someone could tell me what these are, how close I was to lucid dreaming, what I should do to induce paralysis/HI imagery/vibrations/etc. please help!
At one point, I felt I had two setsnof hands- one real pair, and one "dream" pair. I "saw" a knife come down on me, and I put up my "dream" hands to protect myself, and I could feel my real hands twitch. I opened my eyes in a cold sweat.
After about 45 minutes, I saw a light in the corner of my eye where (in my room) I have a neat picture of a beach that lights up and stuff, but it wasn't... normal. The light kept growing brighter and brighter and my mind was "thinking" very fast and my thoughts became erratical. I opened my eyes again in a cold sweat.
In the first, say, ten minutes of trying the WILD, I felt, like, "electricity" (for lack of a better word) running down my body, yet I was not in sleep paralysis. Also, opened my eyes to see if I could still feel it. I felt minor "shocks" going down my legs.

I will try to WILD today, eventhough i think it's to difficult for me. Ii have only had one ld and it was with DILD. I think the main problem will be to stay awake for 30 minutes until the HI start, any advice?

I have this problem, i´ve tried to WILD 3 times, baut always with the same result: "I lie in bed for about 30´, no real change happens, I start to move, I get annoyd and give up".
How long do I have to wait until some changes are noticed? And can I move a little while trying (for example to scrath myself)?

Last night I attempted WILD, and i couldn't fall asleep. What should I do?

Zerochange, same thing happened to me last night, only it was already morning when I tried so it didn't matter.
Try staying up for less amount of time. You'll be more tired when you go back to bed.

Just to answer the Original topic, YES WILDS ARE WORTH THE FUCKIN EFFORT!!! I believe they are way more intense and way more vivid than regular LD's. To go straight from being concious in your bed to the dream world is quite a trip man. I do it every sunday, and have multiple back to back wilds all day until i gotta wake up for work. Just have to have patience and dedication and find the right method that works for you.
