I Made it to the Moon! (MILD)
I don't know if this dream was actually shared, or not. There is actually more to this dream then I can recall. I only have a clear memory of the lucid bits :P
I was at home, upstairs, looking out one of the back windows to my yard. I saw something (can't recall what) out there that made me think I should go down there.
As I approached the backyard, I see a black dog running excitedly towards me. "Buttons!" I think. As the dog approaches, I can see her eyes. I recognize my dog in those eyes, and something in the back of my head twinges. I then notice that Buttons is attached to her leash (we kept a leash post in our backyard, because we have no fence, but that's all since been removed when she passed away). I wondered to myself, "I went back in time or something?" and the twinge got stronger. I tossed a frisbee for Buttons, who ran after it, and I heard something behind me. I turned around, and saw another Buttons running after the frisbee! "Two Buttonses?!! Ohhh, I get it, it's a dream."
I walked along to the front of the house, and my mother came out the front door. She was about to ask me something, but I interrupted her by saying, "It's alright mum, it's just a dream. I have things to do!" I walked to the sidewalk and pushed off the ground and started flying upwards. "Where should I go?" I wondered. "Oh right, the moon! I have some goals to complete on the moon. Well... I'm already flying, lets just hope this lasts..."
I felt my speed increase, and as soon as I broke past the clouds in the sky, I was in space. I saw the moon ahead of me, and there were lights twinkling on it (looked kind of like street lights). I flew really quickly and nearly flew right over the moon. I had to maneuver myself around, and I hovered down and landed gently.
I took in my surroundings. It looked like a carnival. "Huh, so they really did put an amusement park on the moon!" (they, meaning our DV shared dreaming crew :P). I didn't see any rides where I was standing, it just looked kind of like a midway. "Too bad there's no one here," I thought, dismayed. "I guess I'll get some tasks done."
There was some commotion that kicked up around me, and the park became under siege (I didn't see with what). I hid underneath something, because I don't really have any fighting skills yet. Two people found me (I assume it was Nomad and Raven, but we never introduced ourselves) and told me to go find Mosh. I concentrated on his name and imagined myself dissolving out of there.
I found myself in a room. It was mostly green-walled (tiled) and was brightly lit (yellow hue). There were two girls to my left and one guy to my right. There was some warden type guy in a suit pacing around the room. I slowly edged towards the guy on the wall and said, "Hey" (I assumed it was Mosh), "It's Serenity."
He looked sort of confused, like he didn't recognize my name. "Err, from the forums! Eternalstar01!"
"Oh!" he said. Recognition!
We talked about what we were doing here, but I felt like I was losing lucidity, so I wasn't paying too much attention to the conversation. I looked at the walls around me and was using my dream body's senses to stay with it. I mentioned something about wanting to leave, because I had some tasks on the moon I wanted to complete. But, I didn't want to leave him there.
This other guy in a suit came in and told us he was a psychologist. He was going to analyze us and find out why we were here. I moved myself into a sitting position with my right leg slightly bent, foot flat on the floor. My left leg was laying underneath the arch my right leg made. This is important, because "Psycho-babble" told me he could analyze me from my sitting position. I looked at him like, "Fucking try me."
I don't remember what he was telling me, but, I recall that he was way off the mark. But I led him on like he was on the right track, but I noticed my new friend was trying to escape. Unfortunately, they noticed him and he was back against the wall with me.
"My eyes and head are getting really heavy," I said. "I think I'm waking up."
"Don't wake up!" he said. "Try to hold out just a little bit longer"
"Blehhh, it's done!" I said, and woke up.
This dream is old enough that I still used my old forum name, before I got them to change it to Serenity :D
