Pain during OBE
A few years ago, I had a lot of OBEs, almost every night, around the same time I was having LDs and happened to also suffer from SP nightly. They were involuntary.
One time, during the OBE, I was imagining something, sort of like I was in a dream. The imagining resulted in intense pain, which I really felt. (I'm not saying what it was, I have OCD and that's why I imagined it, but let's say I imagined my wrists were being slit, or imagined myself being strangled). I tried to leave the OBE but it took a few seconds and the intense pain wouldn't go away until I got out of it. After that, I was terrified of having OBEs because I was afraid that I would get OCD and obsessively imagining the thing happening again.
As a side note, I'm also a bit afraid of something like this happening while I'm lucid dreaming, once I achieve doing it regularly. The idea of something really scary, like the grudge character or something, will come to my mind and I'll think "don't think about it, don't think about it" but I'll just make it appear as a result.
Does anyone else experience the fear I have, or anything I've talked about? Sorry for the probably terrible typing/grammar, I'm very tired.

Hi Dianeva,
I'm still fairly a beginner with lucid dreaming, however I've also been experiencing this pain. It's not that I've been trying to get OBEs because I don't really care for them tbh, but when I try the WILD-WBTB method I sometimes get these intense vibrations. They're not just any intense vibrations, the sort of pain I feel depends on what position I'm lying in but they're all very unpleasant. Just this morning as I attempted a WBTB-WILD, after an hour or so the painful vibrations kicked in. To me it felt like my spine was being sawed with a chainsaw! It's hard to describe but it really hurts.
The pain is of course of frustrating because it makes it super hard for me to get into a LD when this happens, and lucid dreams have always been my aim and nothing else. :panic:
I'm planning on posting my experiences on the forums when I have more time, I hope someone helps us soon. :)
