Book Recommendations for Vibrational Energy
Hi everybody,
So I'll first go into a little backstory because I rarely have a chance to talk about this stuff in the real world. I recently graduated college with a degree in biology and psychology. A few months ago I was turned on to some books on the universe/quantum mechanics/theoretical physics. I learned about the double slit experiment and Alain Aspect and the non-objective reality we live in. I was shocked that this stuff is not universally taught in schools. I graduated feeling I had a pretty good grasp of the world only to see I knew nothing. I had taken SO many science classes (although none of them physics) and still had not been made aware of how the universe (us included) operates.
Anyhoo, I kept looking into it and read "Physics of the Soul" by Amit Goswami and "Nothing I See Means Anything" by David Parrish. I am fascinated by these theories that are derived from quantum mechanics. I guess I found spirituality from science, which I never thought would happen. Maybe if science and religion stopped being so hostile toward each other we could all benefit. Again, I digress. I am currently ordering "Wholeness and the Implicate Order" by David Bohm and "The Holographic Universe" by Talbot. I would like to hear any thoughts from people who have read these.
People in this field (and this forum) often mention levels of higher consciousness as higher vibrational frequencies. I am very interested in this concept. So while I am on an Amazon binge, does anyone know of any books (or maybe youtube videos) that examine this from a scientific standpoint? Why vibration? What kind of evidence is out there? I would like some sources to look into (as long as they aren't too mathematic).
Thanks guys
