"God doesn't play dice" Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein said, "God doesn't play dice." When he said that, he was referring to quantum physics and how it didn't seem to make sense given the way we understand the world around us. What he meant was that everything we know seems to follow logical rules and laws. But then quantum physics came along and suggested that randomness was a part of the math and that there weren't always fixed answers. One solution to this problem was that we simply don't know all the factors that contribute to an outcome. In this way, there are hidden factors. Fredrick Neichze said that while we are dreaming, and we hear thunder, our minds adjust our experience to account for the sound in a way that makes sense in the context of the dream. I'd like to suggest that that is happening all the time. When we are sleeping and when we are awake, hidden factors influence our experience and understanding of the world around us.

It helps to get to know yourself honestly. lying to self is hard to put aside. Start discovering the hidden factors even if they bring heart ache. When you understand more of the factors you can become better at influencing the dream.

I think that part of where many people get confused about causality is they assume that everything must be precisely defined, and that therefore any uncertainty is either 'random' or the result of something that's precisely defined but unknown. I think that actually, many things are only vaguely defined. If you force it to be defined more concretely, without having a way to force how it does that, then it becomes more concrete in a manner that's orthogonal, so to speak, to any other definite causes. We call that random, but before that it wasn't random, it was vague.

In regards to the 'dreaming about thunder' example, it is commonly assumed that it is possible to incorporate the sound into the dream because the experience of the sound is delayed from the actual event. With thunder, that could be possible in some cases because it was preceded a few seconds by lightening. And it could be possible because it was preceded by other thunder. But in some cases there's a clearly precognitive element, where the sound is experienced when it occurred, there was no plausible way of anticipating it, and yet it is still incorporated into the dream plot before it happened.

In any case, it is true that hidden factors influence things all the . And its true that if you're honest with yourself, you become comfortable with who you are, your experience gets deeper, and you may become aware of many things that were hidden formerly.

I think experimental science, hell all of science, is all about solving problems, however, you can't solve them at once. There is always a larger overarching question. But, if you obsess over becoming lucid or trying to figure out, enormous of it all, or what that means, you will lose focus of what is important. The key is to start small. Whatever, you are looking for. Focus on solving problems that you can answer. Build on some dry ground to stand on. And you put in the work, and if you're lucky, the overarching problem will become knowable. In theory, you do realize that we are probably part of a bigger picture.
A lot of our Expectations will Manifest our Reality. We live in a mental model that is built on sensory perceptions before those sensory perceptions are perceived. It is like everything is a form as illusion or dream.
You know that our observations determent our reality. We all perceive differently. It would be very difficult to see all those other multiverses at once seeing that our consciousness and force of observation wouldn't allow it. (IMO)

One time, my mom was talking in her sleep. I don't know why but, when she was asleep she talked about a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and I told her when she had this episode that she was dreaming. That she needed to remember that she was dreaming. When she woke up, I told her what happen and she told me that she remembered that dream and that I was talking to her. Has that ever happened to anyone else? So, I don't know if that would actually count but, I was wondering what you guys think?

I don't doubt this, my intuition tells me there is more to dreams than we are lead to believe, so maybe the precognition aspect is access to a deeper level of activity that we aren't aware off... like maybe another dimension influencing this one.

I'm certainly curious about this, I think its true, but I still haven't manifested in the way that I would like to... It is hard to make sense of all this stuff, but maybe some day?

A Einstein later: "God tirelessly plays dice under laws which he has himself prescribed."
A. Einstein even later(1954): “The word God is for me nothing but the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends." The god wasn't person for him.

I think it would be a mistake to try to place Einstein in the theist/atheist binary. I think that most people of relatively high intelligence and objectivity can see that the gods of men's imagination are largely made up. But that doesn't make the negative true. Similarly, it makes little sense to think of a "personal" God as being a supreme God, and yet, that doesn't make the negation of either of those ideas true either.

I agree, I'm sure he was using it as a metaphor for nature or something like that.
