Ah darn, I almost left my body again...
I've only done it once, but I am certain I actually left my body. If any of you have experienced this you know how difficult it can be. I felt like I had my 'head' out. I was about to get out and after going back in I woke up. The last time I got this close I went all the way out only a second later. I guess the only way to prove this is real is to have someone else awake do something in another room. The last time I did this everything did happen as I described it. Everything was exactly as I saw it when I woke up. I also slept through the day so the house did change inside enough to notice a difference. Now I know some of you have experienced this and know what I am talking about. This is not an astral projection, this is not a lucid dream. I have had both of those and they are very different. In an OOBE everything would look exactly as it is in the physical world. You wouldn't see anything strange except maybe other people (ghosts or whatever you want to call them - if they exist in our world).
When I am in the state where you are able to leave your body I feel it requires a lot of force to exit. I can feel parts of me jumping in and out when I try to leave. I had my head out for at least a second then slowly fell back in. The first time I think I was just lucky. Do any of you who have done this know a good way to leave your body? I mean aside from putting a gun to the head. :)
One more thing. I read a lot about NDE also. I noticed that these seem to be the same thing as this, except the person does not willingly leave their body. Could it be unsafe to do this? Or would my body work safely without me? The last time I did it I only was out for maybe 30 seconds. I'd hate to leave it and not be able to come back, hehe.
