What do you experience when losing a lucid dream?
Hi people,
I have only had 3 LD's to date, but I have had a recurring sensation when losing my lucid dreams before I wake up.
Whenever I am about to lose a LD I hear a feint rumbling sound in the background and it get's louder and louder and then I wake up.
As I am new to LD's I did not relate this sound to losing my LD but now for my next one I am prepared.
On my 3rd LD, I heard this sound and everything went black, I could hear the sounds of my room become louder (partner snoring) and I tried to focus on my LD, by imagining myself rubbing my hands together - this brought back the image of my LD for a couple of seconds (seeing my hands rubbing together and the floor of my LD), but then it faded again and I woke up.
Has anyone else experienced this? With regards to a feint rumbling sound coming from the distance and getting louder before you wake up from an LD?
If so - this must be a "warning sign" that I am waking up - and to combat this, should I start focusing on my LD more by rubbing hands etc, or spinning, or should I just let myself wake up as my dream has run its time?
Thanks,
Ryan
