I have used two successful "hacks" to get myself into the air and moving. The first is somewhere on this site (I believe TheCusp mentions it on some thread) where you "zoom out" your vision, moving you farther and farther into the sky. Works, but you don't really "feel" like you are flying (at least I didn't). The second is mentioned by sivason a lot and involves catching the thoughts that say, "Oh, this is not working" or "this is harder than I expected" and replacing it with stuff like, "Look how I high up I am!" or "I started slow but I'm moving along now." Anything to change what is actually happening in the dream.
Also, if you start to fall, I have found just relaxing and saying, "I'm not falling" is really cool. I usually just sort of hang in the air. Hope this helps.
You should explain your flying technique. If you have not done so, practice slow flight, hovering, and levitating. By doing many different forms of flight it will help you refine your elevation you can attain also.
Heyy lsddream ^_^
So my tips are:
You should imagine a flying object. For instance a magic flying broom like those in Harry Potter. A hoverboard or a wings. That should be easy for you.
Another technique I still use today when I cant fly is I just jump and start moving my limbs like I am underwater and I am swimming, but I am swimming in the air.
Another one I used when I was small is I just jump from the ground and while I am in the air I jump again and again and again... you get the point :P It used to work back in the days!
Hope I helped ^_^
This thread is old, but take a look at it, it may help, http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...you-learn.html
Do you have any experience with movies, shows, (or better yet) video games wherein one (or more) of the characters could fly?
If so, you can pull from any of those archetypes to make flight a cinch.
