I need some help figuring out these dreams.

I have these dreams that I call sci-fis, & people won't quit telling me that they are not dreams(I totally disagree!). Well, here is 1 example(if you want more, visit my dream journalhttp://nesgirl119.bravejournal.com/)
I was just trying to get into an LD in a midmorning nap using my usual technique, but I got impatient, started to try to force myself up, & shook violently. It starts off kind of like a false awakening, except that I am in my white robe (usually in these dreams, that can happen), & my unconscious duplicate is in that bed, no doubt (truely a dream if there are 2 of me, b/c my duplicate is dressed in the same PJs I put on). I head into the kitchen of my friends, & note that they are talking about The Best 2 Years. I want to say something, but I know very well that they will just act like that I am not there if I try. Then I fly through the ceiling, & out of the house towards Crescent View. I don't really pay any attention to the lesson..I am just happy to be there. When I finally realize that my friend would probably try to wake me up soon (& the only way to wake up from one of these dreams is to return to the bedroom you are currently sleeping in), so I hurry back to her bed. I wake up peaceful.[/url]

You made this sound like a lucid dream.. was it?

I did look at your website and noticed you tend to have "sci-fi" dreams very often..? From a psychological perspective, I would say that this is the subconscious wish fulfillment - that your dreams are projecting what you wish would happen in real life. The majority of time this happens is because there are certain aspects in the real life which the person cannot fully comprehend. In fact, when faced with this interpretation, the immediate reaction would most likely be absolute denial and frustration, "That's not true!!". This reaction further illustrates how the frustration of wish denial correlates to the desire for a different life style - or a life free of stress. I would commonly guess that the dreams show a kernel of social anxiety; as the individual becomes further detached from society, they will emmerse themselves in fantasies. These fantasies are emulated to the individual's personal wishes and desires of the life they want. A Freudian would say that this is high potential for hysteria. However, a Maslowe follower may say that the person is very amibtious. Depends on your opinion..

So, do you recall many dreams that arn't lucid? These are the keys to understanding your unconscious.

Also, I am curious of a few things that I could not find out on the website:
How old are you?
I'm assuming you are female from your nickname, right?
Are you happy with your family & social life? (Life at school?)

The dream you described (if it wasn't lucid) I would best interpret as depicting your desires in contrast to your social life (ie. school). But I can't really tell much more than this. This is mostly because I'm not sure if it was lucid or not.

In addition, the fantasy of lucid dreams may also be significantly fabricated in order to fulfill these desires. However, I am not accusing you, nesgirl119, of fabrication. Just remember that you may unconsciously fabricate your dreams - your unconscious may interfere with the true self. I am curious if you think this is at all relevant to you? Yes, I do know that I am dreaming....but answer me this....Why in these dreams is there a duplicate who is wearing my PJs that is always unconsious? I cannot answer that....& also, I cannot answer the reason of why I am in a white robe, & feel as light as an astronaut in outer space....& why do I always end up waking up when I crash into my duplicate? Here is one last example:
I fly out of my room, feeling like I had to use a lot of pressure to escape the bed. Then I fly over to my nieces' house, not noticing any obsticles in my way. I see Syrena sleeping, then she starts to thrash. I say, hold on, your aunt is coming!! I somehow, end up in her dreams. It seems that she has had nightmares, & so I beat the crap out of them! When I am done, she said that I was her white robed hero aunty, & she continued her dream, but I was in her territory, so I had no control, but I was having fun with her anyways. I leave her dream, her house, & return to my bedroom (unsure why, but I am required to return to my sleep spot to wake up, or the dream is endless!)
Oh, & what do I do to get her to quit calling me casper? That is bugging me, b/c I know it is a dream for several reasons!
(1) There cannot be 2 of you in reality
(2) You shouldn't feel like an astronaut, flying, but never landing
(3) I haven't seen white robes at the stores, lately
(4) It is impossible to fall through tables

So I know that it is only a dream, even though people say that if the events I see during this dream happen at the exact same time, then it isn't a dream. It is, though, b/c I don't think people would intentionally ignore someone dressed that way.

That sounds like an OOB (Out Of Body experience). Also known as Odd and Overused Bullshit. In my opinion, at least. Have you asked your niece if she actually had a nightmare and dreamt that you saved her that day?

Yea sounds like a lucid dream. You know what you should really try doing? Set your alarm for like an hour after the time you normally wake up. Then if you have one of them dreams, stay away from you room and do other stuff. I am sure you can find a lot of things to do. Sooner or later you will either wake up by yourself or wake up from the alarm. If not, theres a good chance you will hear the alarm inside your dream, and if you have to, you can go back to your room. If the alarm hasn't gone off in real life then that proves your mind is just playing tricks on you, if it is and you look at the time and your been sleeping with it on for 10 minutes, then maybe you have something.

Doubt it. Yes, she did have a nightmare, & yes, she did say that I was in a white robe, & she saw me in her dream, & the nightmares don't bother her anymore, b/c I went in there (with extreme caution, as I have no control in her LD) I told you that it started off kind of like a false awakening, but I flew to her house w/no gravity attached(felt kind of like an astronaut if you ask me). The only problem with that one is that I can never wake up unless I return to my nap spot, which really does sound like a dream. She knew that I was in her dream, but I was in her territory, & was kind of a person w/no control in her dream, but she did say that I was there. This is only one method of DSing that I have. This isn't 100% safe, as you could get into trouble if you don't wake yourself up b4 anyone gets into your room (almost got into trouble when my dad couldn't wake me up to take my meds, but woke myself up just in time by returning to my freakin' room)!
These are mostly caused while I am in the SP mode, & if I try to struggle to get myself up? [what is that blue sash tied around my belly, interpreters[blue, not silver!])
I really have had regular DSing experiences w/her(besides these sci-fi LDs), which are caused by a strong bond, 2 expert LDers(or LD sages) & a secret message. You both must say the same message in your LD simutaniously, which is very hard, & takes time!! At least in these ones, we both own the territory!

I have tried the alarms b4, but they only work in my regular LDs, & not in these ones (I have to time myself to go back at the correct time, which is kind of easy, considering that it is the same time in these dreams as it is in regular dreams)
PS: Tell my niece to quit calling 'dream me' Casper, b/c it really ticks me off :mad: !

Be like "If you call me that one more time I am going to sneak up on you when your not looking".

The only problem with that is that I am in her territory, so she can do whatever she wants, but other than calling me Casper :mad:, she lets me hang out w/her, & do whatever I can do (I cannot eat anything in these dreams) in her dreams.

Well, then, I will give you some insight! Well, I arrive at the scene of this dream when Cody is screaming b/c he is scared of his duplicate (i.e. 2nd self). I tell him that this is only a dream, & I have a duplicate, too! I just tell him to fly w/me, & feel the peace, so we fly out of the house through the ceiling. We do, & as we do, Michelle greets us. I ask him how he likes the dream so far, & he likes it. Michelle says that it is not a dream (she thinks this, b/c time is 100% accurate to real time's). I tell her the certain reasons, & we argue about it being a dream, saying, "Is too!" "Is not!" Cody flies away, b/c he can't take the arguing. Strange thing is that we all drempt the exact same thing.

That is just what we say in my religion, but I believe in that! Still, despite what any of you say, it is only a dream, especially the one I had last night. I got up out of bed, looked at my cat & duplicate, & did some meditating b4 returning to bed! Now that is a dream!

Pretty much, I expect that these sci-fis will remain unsolved 4ever, b/c people won't quit saying that they are not dreams, although I believe that they are. Also I tell them, If they aren't dreams, then what the heck are they?!

When you go out on these excursions, like say flying down your street, does everything always looke 100% realistic? Do you ever see things in the environment that could not be real? Everything you see in your neighborhood is completely accurate?

Oh yeah! Even Disneyland looked 100% real. And one time, when I went BTB, it said 4:30. When I actually woke up 2 seconds later, it also said 4:30.

Sounds legitimate. Whether you call it a "dream" or not, it sounds like you can do some pretty REAL things. The fact that your niece told you that she had seen you in the robe is amazing. The only thing that comes to mind of a white robe with a blue sash are the garments of the Virgin Mary, as described by Bernadette Soubirous and Catholic tradition.
And if I may infer, you stated that your religion believes that souls are comprised of matter. As I understand this idea does come up in some Catholic denominations. Sorry if I got too personal with religion and all, I just couldn't help making the observation.

It is likely that the robe has something to do w/religion, considering that Crescent View mentions the same thing. I haven't been able to figure out what the blue sash stands for, or my friends' pink sashes. One thing that I know is that they are snug like belts, & we don't want to loosen then, b/c of a bit of paranoia. There are some real things that I can do, & some that I can't. This is the reason I call them sci-fis(science fiction):

Realistic Features
The world does look like the world in real time, & nothing ever changes like it does in regular LDs
Time is 100% accuracy (I have checked my clock upon returning to bed, & when I wake up, it shows the same time)
Events that happen here happen in the exact same place at the exact same time as real time

Things that make it sci-fi:
There are 2 of me (the main me in the white robe, of course, & my unconscious duplicate wearing the PJs I put on b4)
Flying & floating, but cannot walk
People that do not wear white robes tend to ignore me for some reason, even when I get in their face!
Everything acts like a holigram (i.e. my hands go through items like a holigram, even water)
Can enter foreign dream territory, if you want to.
You can't wake up on own, & you must go back to the proper bed
Always starts at the bedroom

You see, the above reasons make it a sci-fi. This is why I consider them WILDs, or sometimes sci-fis. This can be confusing to some, but Michelle & Cody know what I am talking about, b/c they have the same sci-fi dreams. I even have had to drag Cody away from his duplicate, b/c it scares him.

I don't want to stick my nose in where it dose't belong, I'm new to this forum, but what you're talking about sounds like eveything I've ever read about astral projection or OOBE's. I know you don't want to hear that or probably even beleive in such a thing, but I'll tell you what I know if it interests you at all or might help. I can't say personally, but this is what I've read. AP (Astral Projection), can happen many ways they say; intentionally, accidentally (a shock or physical trauma), or through the dream state. They discribe many things witnessed in this state that sound like what you have witnessed yourself. You're mind or soul or whatever it is that leaves the body has no material form, it's enegy/thought, so it functions beyond the bounds of the physical world. Gravity does not hold you, you go where you want to simply by thinking it. You can pass through things, you have no pysical body to stop you. You can interact with people in the same state, but not with anyone who isn't. You can observe things as they happen in the physical world, see things, but can't interact with them/ move them because you don't have a body to manipulate them with. You can look back and see your body resting where you left it and like you found yourself, you can't just wake up where ever you are, you have to go back to your body to wake up. You don't have to wear anything in this state (no body) but, if you feel the need, if you bothered to notice, you can cloth yourself in say like a white robe with a blue belt. As far as time goes, your astral self they say is not held by the constraints of time. What felt like an hour can pass and when you get back a minute will have passed for your physical self. Ever had a dream that felt like hours or even days passed but, woke up to find it had only been 15 minutes? I think we come into contact with a part of ouselves when we dream that must be similar to an AP state. I think that is why people say they do this when they dream or meditate.

But, what the hell do I know? I promise I'm not a kook, I just think things like this are interesting.

Uhh...did you say anything about why my friends were with me in their white robes? Well, these types of things actually scare me :eek: ...b/c of my big fear of death. Also, why can I fly, b/c it is a dream. I can't really explain why my friend is scared of his duplicate, nor can I explain how I can communicate w/my 2 friends. The only thing that I know is that it does somewhat symbolize a dream to me. Also, I don't know exactly what the blue sash on my belly & the pink sashes on my friends' belly stands for. All I know that it is kind of snug, but I dare not loosen it like a belt (a bit of paranoia here), b/c I do not know what it symbolizes, & I don't want to untie it & find out. Also, did I mention that our duplicates are alive & breathing? Indeed, that does have to be a dream :D

Also, I don't get how I can be in someone else's dream through a sci-fi. All I do know is that it can be a little dangerous due to the fact that you get absolutely no control. My niece still calls me Casper, & she won't stop! :mad:

Well, it is kind of simple. All you have to do to sci-fi is position yourself in SP (or if you're already in this position, you're doing it right). You know very well that you cannot move, so try to anyways. The result is that it feels like something is restraining you from getting up, you feel staticy, & you are shaking violently. Fight that restraint, & eventually, you'll end up dreaming about being flung out of bed. This works too much if you ask me. Caution: Be sure that you are in a safe place, b/c if someone messes w/you while you're sleeping, you will not be awakened, so watch out!

The "sci-fi" experiences can only supply proof for an existence outside of the "material" or "physical" so in a way, I would think, that should be somewhat comforting to your fear of death. But you're not alone with that fear, I'm sure!
I have experienced something like the sci-fi's as you describe them. My experience included the body vibrations as I "left" the bed. I made a small venture through my house, but suddenly I felt myself fall back into the bed, or into the "duplicate" as you call them. The strangest thing about my experience was that it was climaxed by a bedside visitation by an imposing apparition, followed by some painful constrictions in my chest. This apparition looked like a tall righteous warrior filled with light rather than physical features. As I felt the constrictions the apparition spoke to me in what I can only describe as a form of telepathy, telling me that I should quit smoking because this (the pain) is what it would lead to. It wasn't like waking up when I came out of it, I just kind of snapped myself out of the constrictions, and was left with the feeling of... holy shit what just happened, I was pretty drained from the experience. I CERTAINLY have not ruled out the fact that I was dreaming, in fact that is what I do think. However, I cannot rule out "paranormal" because... nobody can rule it out! I've had MANY LD's about walking or "moving" about my house and the surrounding terrain, but only this one was accompanied by the physical feelings of exit and entry. And the only time I have met up with someone who seemed to be something other than a construct or dream character.

When your niece calls you Casper, it sounds to me she's referring to your white robe. Like a halloween ghost costume... But I'm afraid there is nothing more I can say.

Well, I don't know why, b/c I also have a blue sash that I see tied around my belly (not silver, but blue!). The other night, one of the famous guys that I really wanted to see. Well, he had a sci-fi, & went into my dream. I just rushed up to him, & gave him a hug, & listened to what the dream Mr. Hinckley had to say. Also, he had a purple sash instead of pink or blue! :mrgreen:

I've been wondering if the sashes you see perhaps might be how you identify a persons basic underlying nature(a tag). As to what the specific colors mean, I think only you can answer that for yourself. I've also been wondering, are you into martial arts or maybe just Asian mystique? Robes are norm for matial arts students and different colored sashes identify their status. I've also wondered why you keep saying "It's not silver." (Your sash). I'm querious what you mean by that. Should it be?

By the "silver" thing she reffers to the "silver cord" that supposedly connects a person's soul to his body, at least according to what I read. I'm afraid I give her the idea that her sash is analoguos to the silver cord in an attempt to compare her "scifi" experiencse to OBE's, and she likes to deny that her experiences are OBE's.

Of course it is all new age bullshit anyway :D

I take it that the answer is no, but... nesgirl, does the blue sash connect yourself to your "duplicate"?

I noticed on your website that you mentioned the sash stretches for miles behind you. In theory, if you somehow leave your body while alive you will have a strong band of energy connecting your spirit to your body. Your attitude towards your experiences, for me, gives credit to other people's claims about OBE's. Because with all that you describe, you do not claim that you are having out of body experiences. Your testimonies corroborate many "facts" about OBE's. By the way I was reading this thread, and you might find it interesting, particularly a couple of people talking about seeing people in robes.

That is not so, as I had another one. I flew to Denver & met my friend there. He said that this was not a dream, & he showed me his 'pink sash' & I noted that there was also a trail of pink sash behind him(he said it ended at his bedroom, just like mine). For a while (for the 1st time in years) I lost lucidity, & was saying, "Help! I am dead!" Cody said, "Don't worry about it, as you have said to me b4. Just try to relax & feel the peace." When I regained lucidity, I looked at a clock, which said 2AM, & said, "Look, we are wasting time arguing that this is or isn't a dream. Lets finish it like on, then return to our beds!" & so we did that in the LD.

Well, it is a dream, only b/c it began so suddenly when I didn't want it to begin. I am kind of wondering if they aren't dreams, then are they safe?

Well, I believe you've described feeling strong physical vibrations as you begin your experience. Followed by you finding yourself in your room able to accurately read your clock as well as look at what seems to be your physical body lying in your bed. As well you've seen your sash or chord trailing back to your bedroom as you venture out. And you have to return to your bed to wake up.
There are a considerable amount of people who experience this same thing. They refer to it as an out of body experience, some might call it astral projection. I've read numerous posts about people having OBE, and I'm almost positive I've never read about anyone encountering danger. However, I guess, Astral Projection is different because you are supposed to be traveling in another plane of existence rather than just spiritually roaming the earth. So in AP you are said to be able to encounter astal beings... some good, some bad.
Well those are the two most popular theories... Personally I think AP is a fantasy. In the end it is up to you to interpret your experience in your own way. I honestly think you have nothing to worry about though.
Finally, I know little to nothing about medicine, but I've noticed that on your website you've mentioned the fact that you have to take medication in the morning. Well, 1st off, I did not choose to have these sci-fis. It started one night, when I was just cowaring about dying, b/c of a church lesson. It started off like after I went through a WILD, I just found myself crammed in a dark roomy closet. I just forced my way out, & thought that it was time for me to go to school, b/c I am usually not this awake otherwise & I go to my parents' room, thinking that it was indeed time for them to take me to school. They completely ignored me (which I did not understand at the time), so I decide to walk down to school. When I am right next to a seminary, I note that something is wrong, & well. Looked down, & noted that I was flying, & started to scream! I then said to myself, "Well, if I am not wearing a white robe, then this is not a dream!" I look, & I am wearing one. I get so frightened that I fall on my face, still flying. I am frightened b/c I think that I am dead. Well, when I get up, there is a mysterious mist surrounding me, & many people like me. I say, "Where in the world am I?" Then I note what happened b4, & start to panic, thinking that for sure that I was dead. A person approaches me & tells me,"Don't worry, everything is going to be fine!" I then start to fall from the mists, towards my roof, my house, my bedroom, my bed. I get up very startled, then realize it was only a dream, so I go back to sleep to have a different LD.
Give me a second to freak out! :eek: Why does this have to happen to me?! :eek: What did I ever do?! :eek: Why can't it just leave me alone?! Okay, freaking out is over, thank you.....I have found a way to prevent this from happening. Using my mind-over-matter technique, I can stay in bed even during SP, but it does make me fall asleep in my LDs!! :lol:
Also, another question I have is how can I see 2 Michelles & 2 Codys. Well, the main ones are dressed like me, w/white robes, & pink sashes instead of blue, & like my duplicate, theirs are unconscious, too? That is somewhat confusing...if we are DSing, then how come there has to be 2 of each of us?

If you truely believe you are dream sharing, then I guess you would have to ask yourself by what means are you able to communicate with Cody and Michelle. If it is some sort of undiscovered biological phenomenon such as telepathy, then perhaps your able to share thoughts with them but your mind will still create whatever images it wants to assosciate with them. So there could be six of them if you wanted.
But if you think that what you visualize in you sci-fi's is the real world, then you would have to consider the fact that your spirit is able to temporarily leave your body and meet up with your friend's spirits. That would, of coarse, mean that your duplicate and their duplicates are your physical earthly bodies unconscious in your beds.

Almost every time, it does start w/SP. Either I just float through the roof, or I try to force myself out of SP, & I am flung out of bed. Truth be told that in the last one I told Cody that it was 2AM, & the scenery was realistic, but I still knew it was a dream, b/c even though I was able to see this place, I still saw that Cody had a pink sash around him, like my blue one, & he showed me that his extended for miles too.

Also, 2 weeks after I drempt about dragging Cody away from his unconscious duplicate, taking him to Disneyland, & meeting up with Michelle, I actually went there, & it looked exactly the same as when I saw it through the sci-fi (even the paint :shock: ). There are many more like that, too in my DJ. Also, when I told Cody & Michelle what I saw, they said that was exactly what they saw, too :shock: . That is just plain confusing! I mean, how can we all see a real place from a sci-fi, & each have our own unconscious duplicate??

Well, does looking at a clock, going back to bed, & having the clock & room look the same count, b/c my friends see the same thing.

Well, last night, at about 2AM, I undergoed SP, which is usual for doing a sci-fi. After I had an LD about being on this site & having a prehistoric bug as a pet, I woke up, let the cat out of my room, laid down for about 10 mins, then I undergoed SP. I was holding back a sci-fi w/my mind-over-matter, but then realized that I could enter an LD this way (typical way). I stopped using the mind-over-matter technique, & then had that floating sensation, thinking that I was still in SP, about to enter a LD, but then realized that I was in a sci-fi, & failed to hold back Give me a second to freak out! Why does this have to happen to me?! What did I ever do?! Why can't it just leave me alone?! Okay, freaking out is over, thank you. Well, there I was, just floating in my room, looking at my digital clock, & totally freaking out, when Michelle came in & helped calm me down, & told me that I was okay. I returned to bed, had a regular LD, & woke up. Why did I fail at preventing myself from having a sci-fi :shakehead2: ? Give me a second to freak out! Why does this have to happen to me?! What did I ever do?! Why can't it just leave me alone?! Okay, freaking out is over, thank you....

Do you sleep on your back facing up? If so, that is said to be a major factor in encountering sleep paralysis. In theory, if you do sleep on your back, try sleeping on your stomach if you want to avoid your sci-fi's. Just a thought.

Offhand I'd say "no" -- I wouldn't want to avoid them. Most of us desperately want to have very vivid, realistic, lucid dreams. Your "sci-fis" sound like a heckuva lot of fun to me.

B/c sometimes Michelle tells me otherwise. She tells me that it's too realistic to be a dream, but I don't agree, although sometimes looking at my duplicate startles me, & I never know anything about the blue sash, so I am so confused. Also, some people say that they aren't dreams, but I don't agree, b/c there can't be 2 of you, 2 of Michelle, & 2 of Cody in real life, although the time, places, & events in these are realistic, & always happen in the real world, I still think that our unconscious duplicates are enough to convince me that it is only a dream. Well, I also cannot awaken if I don't return to bed, kind of like a stupid requirement!

What happens in our dreams is based greatly on what we believe will happen. I'm willing to bet that the only reason this is true for you is because you believe it is. If you can convince yourself that you can wake up without "returning to bed", then I'll bet you will be able to. But you will have to truly believe it.

I consider dream sharing alone to be something far more supernaturally significant than LD's. There nothing supernatural about dreaming. So the olny way I think that your sci-fis are just dreams is if Cody and Michelle are just humoring you when they tell you that they recall seeing you in their dreams.

Also I am interested in the book that was shown to you in a sci-fi or LD. What you read in that book sounds a lot like a description of reincarnation. I think it would be great if you could find that book again and read some more from it!

The book said, "The Lord decides how long our life should be, & if he feels that someone should live longer, he will allow them to be brought back. If one is let go for a while, they will return, as the Lord hasn't called them home yet".....& that is all that I can remember.

Technically, all dreams are science-fictions. This is most notable when there are occurrences which are not possible within our reality. Thus the definition of science-fiction.

Any dream where you feel time slowing down, terrain phasing, abnormal thought patterns, etc. fall under a fictional category. Of course, this is simply in relation to the media.

nesgirl, are you more or less making it easier to understand the type of dreams you have that include aspects from contemporary science-fiction movies? Or, are you saying that your dreams are different from everyone elses?

There are some potential problems with enveloping one-self into fantasies. This leads to the abuse of lucid dreaming - when one only finds solitude within the dream world. Where one can feel a sense of control in their lives in contrast to reality.

Science-fiction is typically the method of escape and emotional catharsis for those whom feel victim to or cannot cope, with society. When there are forces that the individual cannot cope with in their life, they will absolve themselves into fantasies and delusions of grandeur. Inferiority complexes fabricate into illusions of power and recognition. However, they also suffer low self-esteem and will find themselves inclined to easily blame themselves for their vices or lack of success in life.

Also, you note that you have been able to lucid dream since you were 3 years old. I find this interesting - how do you know you were able to lucid dream? I find it interesting because neuroscience would argue that you may not even have a sense of self and that a significant amount of infantile amnesia would reside in memory.

However, I imagine the most inclined response to be denial and reproach - "He doesn't know who I am! He is an arrogant jerk. There is much leverage for human beings and potential." This is a result of the defense I have mentioned above. When one cannot cope with the forces in the external environment, they will utilize denial and then lead to individual forms of defense. However, denial is typically the initial reaction. Psyopathologically, this is usually a result of emotional distance from parents.

Get a book that you haven't read before, and place it somewhere in your bedroom. Make sure it's open to a random page. Then, later that night when you sci-fi, go over to the open book and try to read the first few lines of text.
The next morning, in real life, look at the book and see if what you read in the sci-fi matches what you read in real life.

I kind of recall one time when I had lost my DS, & when I am gazing at my unconscious duplicate, I see it right next to it. I also saw my Fire Emblem book, & the time, which said 2:15 AM. When I wake up, I find everything exactly the way it was. I am suprised! I did that once w/Disneyland, you know! :D

A good experiment a heard about Jrels.

You try to envision what number is inside an envelope.

You get someone to write a number down inside an envelope, place it iin another room, try to look at the envelope and see the number.

I just did that! Except it was my mom that left out the packet, & yes, it did look exactly the same. My mom wouldn't let me take it w/me to school, & I just told her, "Aw mom! I am doing this for the good of science!" :lol: It did look exactly the same, & it was found in the exact same spot, too! :mrgreen:

I really can't see a conection here, and also I dont know you and your life well enough to judge and point out what this could be exactly, also there is nothing concrete here, everything is jumbled, it seems like radical dreamlets here, where random thoughts of the subconscious invade your dreams...also I have read O'nus post to you here and it seems to make very good sence...and perhaps there is something going on behind the scenes of your life that you are not recognizing yourself, leaving you to gallop to the dreaming world..with no real foucus or no real meaning, its something we all have experienced.honestly some dreams just dont have meanings and, its becuase we are just overencombered by our everyday lives, that we end up dreaming of radical thoughts and images, that make no sence what so ever..we are overburdened by our own thoughts that our dreams end up to be jumbled and mixed...
I think this is very normal and , since you are young, you will probably experience this alot and its because your still learning yourself and growing in such a way , that you can't yet grasp your inner worlds until you have reached a point of outer and inner awareness of yourself and the world around you..
I give you credit though at least your trying, and most young people could care less, and I respect that about you...so keep doing what your doing and don't freak out, your goiing through major changes and so are your inner worlds, they will appear to make sence one day and the next not at all, this happens to us all..

I mean, I have an unconscious duplicate, & that anything that I see in here is happening in reality, or it is a real place that I am sight-seeing. There is more where that came from. Higher LD state? Cool!! :D I guess that when you are indeed in a very high LD state, you can remote view, even word-for-word in an open packet!! :D

Not quite... I only have 1 duplicate, & I see her only in a Sci-fi. My friends also each have a duplicate, too. The duplicate is most often found in the bedroom, though. I think that is an advantage, though, since she does represent me in my PJs, & same w/my friends' duplicates!

WILDs usually, b/c that is the only technique that I can use, b/c I get insomnia w/o it. So do you know what kind of Dreams these Sci-fis are? :?:

hmm, well if the dreams persist, perhaps than I can help you, but I am still unclear of the motives of your dreaming launguage, and that takes time, however with most people I can point out connections of symbols and other common images and put them together to come up with an answer, there is much going on with these dreams..Ill have to read much more about your sci fi's..

Well, they have been going on for a while (a year & 1/2). Also, I find these ones to be slightly different from other LDs....I mean, I know that I am dreaming (then again, sometimes I think that I am dreaming when I am in real life). Well, I have asked a few people, but if they are not in white robes, they tend to ignore me. Michelle(she is a real person) tries to tell me that they aren't dreams (we are both in the same dream, & sometimes Cody is there, too!), but I totally don't believe her, b/c I tell her how it is impossible to fly & have an unconscious duplicate in real life.

It is b/c some people have told me that they are not dreams, including one that I have them with. She knows of my weakness (my weakness is that sometimes in real time, I sometimes think that I am asleep, when really, I am awake).
I need to know opinions of most people here, b/c some people here tell me that they are not dreams. I tell them that it must be some sort of remote viewing....or something?

Please allow me to speculate a bit, nesgirl. I feel that you realize that all of the signs and occurances that you are seeing in your "dreams" are indicative of OBE's. Having an unconscious duplicate in your bed, after experiencing a paralysis, and finally a feeling of removal and seeing yourself in your bed would indicate that you have left your body, and because you are not in your body, no one can wake you, you are not there to wake. Do you understand what I'm saying? If you are in a regular LD, you would not be able to consciously read a clock in your room and be correct about it. If you were outside your body in an OBE, you could.

I'm not saying I even believe in OBE's, but from everything I know about them, your description fits the bill. I even get this feeling that you yourself may even believe they are OBE's but don't wish to admit it on this board so as to avoid being scorned, and would rather have other people verify it themselves. You even seem to leave hints over and over such as "how could there be an unconscious duplicate of me if it's not a dream," as if waiting for someone to explain how that happens in OBE's. Also, same with the sash. And as for not being able to walk, how could you? If you are out of your body, you would not have legs to implement. If it were a dream, you could do anything you want, being lucid that is. Floating around, and through objects, that's something an immaterial soul/spirit could do after leaving a body.

Feel free to blast me after this. But I've done a fair amount of psychological studies and it just keeps striking me that you are almost playing a game about this, waiting for people to verify these as OBE's. You seem smart, so I don't think that you would simply ignore logic, which, when you weigh the evidence of OBE vs. LD, would clearly show that the signs point clearly to an OBE.

If I'm wrong about something, let me know. You've just made me curious with your ambiguous statements and replies. If you really are steadfast that these are dreams, and are afraid to accept them as something "paranormal", try to work on relaxation exercises and convince yourself that everything is safe. I don't think I've ever heard of any young, healthy person dying in their sleep with no explanation, so I don't think you'd be the first. I think you should take the sash off, personally. If it were a dream, and you took it off, it would pretty much rule out the possibility of an OBE, which characteristically has something linking the body and the soul. If you try this and we don't hear from you for awhile, well....

Well, I still don't understand how I can see my friends, & how they are also in the white robes & sashes, & just like me, they leave out books & read them, as they cannot wait to see what happens next. Why are there duplicates of them, too?? Also, they have a sash that also leads back to their bedroom. One time when I tugged on the sash to try to remove it, it just bounced me back into bed, so there is no real way to remove it, at least that is what my friend, Splash says, b/c she has them, too. We do have legs, but we cannot touch the ground...it is as if it is a holigram.... I am not sure of what exactly this is....I really don't want to think that I am dead & that my spirit is gone. However, there is possibility of RVing... Also, I do know that I am dreaming, but then again, in real life, sometimes I think I am dreaming, too! :oops:

BTW, if you want to know about Splash, she is a friend of mine that is an expert of LDing, & I finally got her to join my website, & actually post in my miniforum, but it'll take alot of people to convince her to join, b/c like me, she had bad experiences. She lives in Utah, like I do....but she so totally rox!!! :D
