One more.. for interpretation only.

I just reaquested help on a "Lucid" dream I had last night. While I am on the subject I might as well request interpretation on the dream i had back in 1998 that still haunts me sometimes. You are really going to think this one is wild.. it was my most vivid one I have ever had. I can truly say this might have been a "vision" of some sort.. well, just read.. you will see. Either I am crazy or really need some enlightenment.

The following is actually a previous letter I wrote when I was 26. I am 29 now. I never got my letter replied to. Perhaps you guys can help.

I am a 26 year old christian female and have had very view "spiritual" happenings. However, I had this "vision" back in 1998. I dream all the time and it for sure wasn't a dream like I had ever had. So for anyone who would like to try and tell me what it means I would be grateful. At the time of this dream my "adoptive" mother had died that same year. They say my "adoptive" father had something to do with it. Then I lost my job, my boyfriend, my car, and a place to stay in a matter of weeks. I was homeless and decided to come back to Oklahoma where I grew up. Anyway, my first night back I stayed at a friends house that I knew from when I had lived here before. That night I remember not being stressed or worried at all. I look at the clock and it was like 1:44am in the morning and the next thing you know I am in a house with other people my age and they are partying. (I am not a partier) anyway...I look out the window and I see a bright light and I know that it is God. I tell myself God has came to take us all home. And I am trying all the doors in the house to get to him and they are all locked. Finally I find a door and I run out into this field which goes on forever. All the color is so vivid it was like I was in a cartoon! So real and beautiful.. Colors I have never seen before. Anyway, I look up and I see the face of this beutiful little girl with big eyes and pigtails. (I know this is funny, but so true)And she has this big grin on her face and was looking down on my like I was a toy or something. She had the earth in her hand and I was standing on it. Then all the sudden I was where she was looking back at the world. And it was beautiful with green green grass and rolling hills. I could still see the house in the distance. Then I looked down and saw a walkway and the little girl I saw was laying there playing with dolls. And then at that exact moment it was like God gave me all the answers to life and death at that exact moment. I felt such peace as I had never before felt. And I felt so happy that everything was going to be ok and I didn't have to be scared anymore. And I remember telling myself that when I got back I would tell everyone all over the world what I had learned. What God had revealed to me. Then after that revalation I was back in the earth standing in the green field and the house was off in the distant. I could see people in the windows. Then I started to run across the field singing praises to my Lord. I was singing praises to the top of my lungs over and over and over. So excited that he had givin' me such a gift. Then it got real dark and I felt a evil spirit there and I knew it was Satin. I kep singing praises over and over. I couldn't see Satin but I knew he was there. Then I saw just a silver sword and he stabbed me in the stomach and he kept walking around me stabbing me in the stomach and my side. I had many wounds and was still singing praises ot my Lord. Then he went away and I was running toward the house still singing. I went in the backdoor and went into the living room where all the other people where sitting on the couch. I felt weak and sat down on the floor and they finally noticed me. I looked down at where he had stabbed me and it had healed. I felt like I was fainting and was still singing praises as lound as I could. And I was so happy. Then as I was falling to the floor one of the people said to call "911". Then when I hit the floor I woke up. When I woke up I had a TERRIBLE pain in my stomach .. so bad I could hardly breath. And I was soaked in sweat. I felt like I had been in a comma for days! You want to know the really weird part? The clock said 1:45 am only one minute had passed. (And no I wasn't on any drugs :-) So tell me ANYONE please .. what do you think this meant? Sorry so long..

Now, this is assuming that the dream actually meant something. I'm not trying to discourage you from seeking meaning in this dream: but remember that just about most of your dreams will not have interpretation. They'll simply be your brain firing off neurons randomly and trying to make sense of them--coming together as a dream. However, assuming that this dream had a serious Divinical meaning, here's what I would say:

You're in the house--that's sin. You're trapped in sin and can't find a way out, because all the doors are locked. You keep trying to reach God by your own good deeds but can't get there, it's impossible. However, you finally find the way to God--you are saved. You were dead in sin (inside the house with the locked doors) but are now alive in Christ. I say this because of the little girl. Now, why God might be depicted as a little girl: I have no idea. But as Christians, we are often called "children of God." So that might have something to do with it. Anyway, you find the way to life, which is Christ. You then are given knowledge--the knowledge that God has revealed to you through Scripture and any other means. Now, this flood of knowledge didn't come quickly. I believe that was what your whole "escapade over the never ending field was" a search for knowledge. You escaped the house and found life, but you still sought knowledge and found it at the throne of God--where the little girl was. Once you had this knowledge, you were attacked by Satan. As a servant of God, Satan is naturally not going to like you. He's going to attack you from every aspect of your life--whether it be physically or emotionally. He might kill the ones you love, he might take away pleasures that you had, but you will overcome it. Being now alive in Christ, and a new creation, you will overcome it. All you need is God. You realized that because you sang praises to the Lord. After you had overcome Satan's attacks, God mended and healed you. You had work to do. God sent you back into the world full of unbelievers (the house) so that you could minister His work. You went back to the house symbolically for going back into the world, but this time to preach the message of the Gospel. It won't be easy, people will not like you, and you might possibly be martyred because of it.


In my opinion, that's what I say it means. Now, given, I've never interpreted a dream in my life and simply said what came to mind. If it meant something, it sure looked like prophecy of things to come, however you have already gone through some of it. You said you had a lot of bad things happen to you within weeks of that dream. I think that was Satan stabbing you with the silver sword. He was attacking you, yet you overcame it. Now God wants you to go into the world full of sin and preach His message. He's been healing you for some time now.

Also, I'd like to caution you: don't take all of that seriously unless you feel that it truly is the answer to your dream. People can often dwell too much on their dreams and their life will waste away because of it. So the best advice I can offer you is this: pray about it. And if my interpretation was helpful, I'm glad I could help.

Innocense is probably the most important part of spirituality, something Madonna doesn't get. It seems like some sort of swamp thing was after you.

One minute you say? It takes over an hour from initial sleep stages to reach REM so that wasn't a REM dream for certain. Not all inner spiritual events have a corresponding vision to accompany them but when we do have them I suppose we have them for a reason.

To me the girl and the vision of green grass is one of the state of the Garden of Eden.

About the whole innocences thing. To be innocent one would have to undo the whole tree of knowledge thing. Children of God, the ones in Eden, don't know any better, and to sin, one needs knowledge of good and evil. But then again the serpent did say something about the path of knowledge giving angelic status so I suppose there could be two paths since the karmatic event at Eden. The path of the Christ is one that is normally described as being one of faith and innocence (ingnorance?), not Gnosis.
