I was just about to say "samething happened to me, and now I don't remember one of them." but as I was typing the whole thing came back!
Thanks!
Do you wake up in the middle of the night? If so,
which light are you using, bright, dim, or none.
1 tip I would recommend is to never give up, soon your brain will get used to staying awake. If you're lazy(like really lazy), just write down little notes on the dreams u remember.
Hi Mancon, I have some tips which will help you. First keep your note, pen and flashlite within reach. Then motivate yourself to write down each dream, or just keywords. Keywords are just as effective as story's. I motivate myself with a challenge. It's maybe à little strange but it works very good. When I don't write down any dream I don't let myself watch my favorite tv program the next day. When I write down 1 dream I give myself a reward, with two dreams a bigger reward and so on. Untill 6 dreams. You have to write down your dreams each time you wake up in the night. Make your rewards personal, just what means a lot to you.
For me this also a new method but the results for so far are amazing.
Good luck
Thanks everyone. Lately Ive been writing them down =D. BTW I sleep with a brightish dim light

I also find myself go through periods of being too lazy to write anything down, even when i remember a dream quite well i will tell myself i need to lye perfectly still to remember everything and before i know it im asleep.
Luckily i have noticed this cycle and have broken it by as soon as the thought of 'i need to relax to remember more' i will give myself a nice firm slap across the face to remind me its worth all the effort in the end.
I have the same exact problem, I am too lazy to jot a few things down. I replay the dream in my head several times before going to bed, hoping that I will recall it in the morning, but that does not always happen. Part of it is that i dont want to wake my girlfriend either, messing around with lights and such..
Oh so you DON'T have to write down the whole story, just the key things then? But what if your dream signs are subtle things? Does that mean you'll miss them?
For a short time I used a digital audio recorder to record my dreams. You don't even have to open your eyes. Just use a Cassate recorder next to your bed and reach over and talk into it.
I never tried it myself because I snore, loudly supposedly but you could try one with a feature that records only when it hears noise. That way you can lay perfectly still and just talk what you dreamed about.
No offence but once word, WILLPOWER!
No willpower is not the correct answer in this case. Some people think willpower is the answer to all questions.
I have experienced it myself, days and weeks I really really wanted to LD and recalling my dreams. I made myself crazy, still a minimum of recalls. Some time after that I came in a sort of routine and recalled lots of dreams, without any willpower.
Willpower can also have a negative effect. Think about all those times people don't get any LD while trying, once they stop trying they become lucid
Belief is the answer, make an auto suggestion "When I wake up I WILL remember my dream", If you truly believe it in 100% you will succeed.
Belief made me have three lucid dreams in three nights..
If you believe it you put attention to it!
Trinity: What's he doing?
Morpheus: He's beginning to believe.
sometimes you just have to force it. If it's important enough to you.
