So a lot of times in my dreams, I try to run and I end up feeling...restricted. Like something's holding me back and it makes it impossible to run without great great force, and I just can't do it, so I end up slothing around or taking small leaps around.
How can I use this to my advantage?
The best I can suggest is to try running or making similiar movements and see whether they're impeded in the real world; using it as an RC.
It's really nothing I can emulate though, It's as if i'm putting all my energy into it and running very, very slow.Quote:

Try running/walking. If you can run/walk perfectly fine, you are awake. If you feel impeded, you are probably dreaming (though I'd do a follow-up check before jumping out a window).

How would I be able to perform a reality check in the waking world, though? I can't think of a way to train myself to do so.Quote:
