That is awesome!!!
Btw, 100th post on this thread
Hey and don't we get grades, Percy?? You had grades criteria in the syllabus.
Oh yeah, I was wondering that too.
That will be coming soon!
However, for those like you two... you know you passed :) You did a great job and you found your skill improved. That is the goal of the course, not the grade itself :)
Hi Percy,
I learned so much from your classes and really appreciate how much of your time you have put in to helping all of us in PercyLucid MILD-1. I know it has been a busy and exciting time in your personal life and despite that you were an amazing teacher. Thank you and the best of luck!
I also want to thank all of you wonderful guys and girls. It was a privelege to spend time with you and to be accepted to dream along with you. I wish you all great dreaming.
 Stephie
Yeah thanks a lot Percy!!!
You really helped me the past weeks :panic:
But I'm having problems with the DEILD technique.Once again after the lucid ended I stayed perfectly still except I swallowed.I do it every time I just can't help it.I think that's why the method isn't working...:(
Suggestions anyone???
I just remembered about the ''sex method'' to wake you up so you could write your dreams.I also remember Sydney saying she's not comfortable doing that so I have a suggestion.Just lay down and go to sleep in your dream.Be careful though...you might end up in FA so always RC :shadewink:
Mmmm.... so do you tell yourself to DEILD (L-DEILD) within your lucid dream but you awake and need to swallow?
Is that what happens? How long does it take for you to swallow? I say this because this is almost a instantaneous technique and you remain awake for a few seconds only until vibrations hit you back.
Btw StephieV, this is not a goodbye :)
You know my nick name so all you have to do is PM me :)
I am glad this is not goodbye Percy.
I am leaving for Europe on Friday so will probably not be around DV for about two and a half weeks. I hear that a change of environment is good for LD's so I expect to have some great results to report when I return. I have been so busy with work and getting ready for my trip that it has definitely affected by recall and LD attempts. However, I remain optimistic as ever :)
Can't say. Jet Lag can increase or decrease, that is up to each single.
Enjoy your trip and have fun!!!!
Sleeping outdoors do increase LDing though. You are more alert when you are not secured in your comfy home :P
Oh yes, I have heard that a change in your environment does help. That has helped me have 2 LDs that way :)
I have a question nagging at me. Does being on DV a lot help to induce lucids?
I wanted to ask that because I had my 6th lucid last night :)
I'm thinking that I've been having all these lucids from being on DV so much.
MILD is getting tougher and tougher for me to master for some reason. I forget to incubate or meditate.. I'm starting to learn more about WILDing just in case all else fails with MILDs. (Which, it probably won't)
Also, whenever I was lucid after learning about LDEILD, I've haven't been able to tell myself that I'll be still and not open my eyes once I wake up. I seem to have a problem determining when my LDs end. I probably have already said this before, but my LDs almost feel like normal dreams, except I remember feeling the RC and I remember, well, feeling. Will this get better over time? Do I need to stabilize more? Do I need better dream control?
There's something else. I'm never able to control the dream how I want to (like, I'm never able to do what I want to do) I always seem to forget my dream goals and just go with the flow; and that is NOT how I like doing my dreams. It's like, my lucids are almost like regular dreams. I never do anything awesome or fantastic.. I don't know. I'm never able to.
one more thing :) My regular dreams feel just as realistic or more realistic than my lucids for some reason. Can anyone tell me why that is?
Basically, my lucid dreams are just not the way people say they are. I'm not "in the moment" where I can really decide for myself..
Can anyone answer these questions? I've had these on the brain for at least a month now.
Thank you for reading that huge thing of text! :)
1- Yes, being a member of DV increases lucidity. While you are here you are thinking about LD and telling your subconscious you really want to LD. Also, you add daily residue to your mind so the more daily residue about LD, the more the chances to LD.
2- About your issue with L-DEILD. I think its the most robust and easy induction technique, however, requires a lucid as I explained. Most people know when their lucid is over or almost over. If you cannot remember to L-DEILD in your lucid dream, it probably means you are not fully lucid (full lucidity means waking memories taking into the dream) I do not think its a dream control issue. If it comes hard to you, try to do something that will wake you up like dream sex, something with big excitement. You can even ask a DC to wake up up. Always stay focused on L-DEILD though.
3- I am a natural and since I remember I always had dream control so I do not really know a troubleshooting for control as it worked always for me. However, the best to control is to just believe you can do it. You are dreaming, you have no boundaries. Your imagination is the limit.
4- Low quality lucids are common. The more you LD, the more lucids you will have. Its all about time until your lucids improve in quality. Just allow the time flow and they will come without you calling them. You probably need to stabilize the dream to increase quality. Each being has his or her own strong points for this.
I hope this answered all :)
Thank you, Percy :) I'm sure this all takes time. I hope I have another lucid tonight, for I have been RCing a lot today. I have also noticed a pattern in between my lucids. :D
Scratch that.. I WILL have a lucid dream tonight!
that's the spirit Sydney :D everyone will have a lucid tonight :D
Damn!!!!I had another lucid and didn't manage to DEILD.The ending was like this:
The scenery changed and I was suddenly home.I looked out the window and saw one of my colleagues.I flew towards her to ask questions(because my family didn't answer and just looked at me like I was nuts). But then I wasn't able to control my flight anymore and the imagery disappeared. So all I could see was black but I knew I was still dreaming so I moved my arms kind of like I was swimming. Then I was back in bed.I didn't move but don't remember exactly what happened but I probably swallowed again....:crying:.
BTW Percy I do remember to stay still and wait for the images to form but I always swallow....I probably need more practice :)
No lucid last night. Maybe I did have one, I just can't remember it.
Hate it when that happens.
Did you tell yourself in the lucid to L-DEILD? That is the trick. For what you said, it appears you moved in bed but you do not remember. LDEILD is an instantaneous thing. You wake up with vibrations already... it's like 30 seconds being in bed and then back in (probable) the same spot from you woke up.
However, do not stress on this. I am going to do some research about i. This technique has a 100% success for me, it always worked. I will try this with other subjects and see what happens. For me it was an awesome experience... its the sensation you wake up from the lucid, telling myself to not move nor open eyes. I see all black (eyes closed) but feel my surroundings, body in bed, etc. Vibrations hit in half a second and then, within 5 seconds the dream reforms. And I know they are two separate dreams.
I had a lucid but i'm afraid external disruption destroyed the dream
I didn't really tell myself to L-DEILD while in the dream.I just tell myself to stay still. Then the dream ends,I'm back in bed and swallow....:(

Will you go to this link and help me out?? Tell me what you think. Ill be posting the full sequence of events later
Hey dako, I couldn't help but notice your dream goals. I LOL'ed when I saw "get ran over". :D
lol, i didn't see that goal. just be 1000% positive your dreaming ;P
hahah will do! XD
Oh wow, I missed a lot. Havent been able to get on here for a while, I am buried in homework from classes... My recall is dying a slow painful death. I did recall two fragments over the last fourr days though...
Yep...my recall is down too....still I had 3 lucids and a DEILD in the last 4 days :panic:
This time I told myself not only to stay still but also ti L-DEILD and it worked...kind of...It was like this
I realized my dream was going to end to I told myself to L-DEILD.Then I felt my body back in bed and immediately after the vibrations.Images started forming.First there was a small castle in a similar place the lucid took place then it faded and there was just black and I saw all these unknown faces like my brain was scanning them or something. Then there was a map of the Mediterranean and a line that was loading like when you're waiting to play a video game.Butt all this time I had no dream body it was like all I was able to do was to observe.I felt my body in bed again but there were still images forming and unfortunately I swallowed...ohh well....
