Friday, January 30, 2011. Day Ten:
Pre-Sleep:
I feel a lot more informed after attending the third MILD class today. I've set my alarm for four and six. I'm going to be combining the WBTB and MILD techniques. I plan on doing everything Professor Perry taught us today and a bit more. I plan on doing some meditation and visualization exercises before bed to further improve my lucid dreaming, dream recall, and vividness.
Post-Sleep:
Alright so I had two very vivid dreams and I had one lucid. The first dream, the vivid one, I was attending an art class. I saw a lot of old faces but we were in a building I've never been to before. We walked into the classroom and everyone sat down, just as the teacher started lecturing some old crazy looking woman rides into the classroom on this light blue electric scooter moped thing. The whole room started smoking up as she was doing donuts in the center of the class. For some reason there was handicapped posts in the classroom. Why I didn't become lucid during all of this completely stumps me. She continued to ride around until she powered up her scooter and blasted straight through the door. It was pretty insane, I was the only one in the class laughing hysterically. The dream ended with that.
My second dream took place on my elementary schools playground. Why on Earth I was there I had no idea. I was walking around the school yard with one of my current friends and I remember being somewhat scared because there seemed to be a lot of gang activity out there. I remember walking past a group of crips and watching them fight a group of bloods for a basketball court. It was crazy and I was beginning to worry. My friend and I took off and were able to get off the campus and the dream ended.
My last dream,
the lucid one, I was in some huge purple building with a bunch of random people. There was artwork all over the walls, me and this girl named Macy had really hit it off and honestly fell in love with one another. This dream seemed to be one of my longest ever. We even had the chance to get married though we didn't have any ceremony. I remember her saying "man this dream is so blocky I wish it was more clear" I said to her "I can help you with that" I performed a reality check and instantly the walls went from blurry to vivid. Everything got better and more vivid from that point, I didn't really do anything crazy. I spent the majority of the dream walking around and just taking in my environment. The dream was pretty awesome, if I had to put an estimate on the time I would say it was about 20-30 minutes. Truly awesome.
