Top 10 Favorite Videogames
What are your top ten favorite videogames? This, obviously, includes any genre and platform.
Mine are, in general order:
[list][*]Fallout[*]Fallout 2[*]Star Ocean: The Second Story[*]Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[*]Half-Life[*]American McGee's Alice[*]Doom (only the original three episodes. Thy Flesh Consumed sucked, and so did Doom II, Final Doom, and Doom 3)[*]Blood[*]Theme Hospital[*]Under a Killing Moon
[list]

Gah! Bite your tongue!
Seriously though, Doom is the be-all-end-all of FPSers as far as my dad and I are concerned. It's what started it all for us. When it first came to a console, we would play it on the weekends until the wee hours of ... well, Monday. ^^;; I miss those days. Recently, before I left the States, I convinced my dad to pick up Halo (he had an Xbox but no Halo). He seemed to really enjoy it a lot and it was fun to team up with the old man again. ^_^
Ahhh nostalgia!

The first three episode of the first Doom were the only original parts of Doom, and will always be the best. Knee Deep in the Dead, Shores of Hell, and Inferno all the way. Thy Flesh Consumed and Hell on Earth (Doom II) were just a bunch of the same thing. Doom II was good for deathmatching, though.
Doom III was just garbage. A gorgeous engine, though. I hope Quake IV is better.

I've tried to get my dad to play FPSs with me, but he just flat out sucks. He's a big MMO guy, though. The bastard has WOW. But hopefully soon, after I get my new(ish) computer, I'll be able to play too. In the mean time, I'm going to get Ragnarok Online tomorrow when I'm back on broadband, and play the crap out of it.
I refuse to play Halo, simply becuase I hate Microsoft. ;P No, I'm just not going to play the XBrick version. We touched an XBrick once, and it burns us. However, I may get it for PC one of these days :D
I'm more of a Half-Life kid. As soon as I get my new computer (Soon, thankfully), I'm going to get HL2. Oh, god, that game gives me shivers its so perfect. I can't wait to play it, I can't wait to play mods for it, and I can't wait to mod and map for it.
