Godzilla is supposed to be one of the greatest monster movies of all time. When you call it "Godzilla 08", it kind of means that you actually liked it. As far as Cloverfield goes, I thought the filming style (even though it wasn't that popular) was enough to give it a reason to just see it. I saw "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" also, it was great. I was scared they were going to screw it up but it was just as good as the first one.

You know the films... Superbad was a main culprit, that show off all the funny parts (I AM MCLOVIN) in the trailer, and by the time you see the film, all the other jokes aren't as funny, and the funniest ones aren't funny since you already know them.
80% of Harold and Kumar 2's big jokes were not shown in the trailers. The deer joke, the entire KKK scene, The "bottomless" party... it was great. Might I also mention that the music was fanastically funny. I actually downloaded 2 of the songs (Gospel Weed Song and My Dick) just because I saw them. While "My Dick" by Mike Avalon isn't something I'd blast in my car, the "Gospel Weed Song" was a great song.
