last movie you saw - and what did you think of it?

just to get this new section going, ill add this thread:

what was the last movie you saw? and would you recommend it?

i saw godsend around 2 days ago and it was majorly idiotic, it had a good idea but it was ruined by being so unrealistic

so anyways its your turn *points finger at you*

I saw that too, and yeah it was really disappointing. I also saw Mean Girls (b/c I thought it might be funny and it was free) but it sucked, but the last movie I saw was the third Harry Potter. It was pretty good.

Well the last movie I watched was and oldie but goodie... um maybe I am the only one that really likes it though. What can I say I grew up watching it. Alright I will tell you already. It was "Oklahoma"

The last new movie I say was "Stepford Wives". It was um well... mildly entertaining.

The last movie I saw in theatres was....Friday Night Lights. It was an awesome football movie, as far as football movies go. But overall I'd only give it like a B-. It was all about the characters at the end, but all about the football in the bulk of the movie...so it was hard to care about the characters. I'd recommend it to football fans though.

Lucidnina: At first, some of it bored me, but I started enjoying some of the philosophy in it, and it began to be more entertaining the more and more the movie went. There was quite a bit about lucid dreaming in the movie, they even went over reality check techniques. All in all, it was really good and very abstract.

Team America: World Police was awesome.

      SAW was alright.

The Girl Next Door was surprisingly good.

Last movie I saw? On my DVD player, that would be the Matrix: Revolutions (following Reloaded, the Animatrix, and the origonal). I haven't been to a theater in a while and so I think the last one I saw was at our University theater and they were playing "The Dark Crystal". Somehow, that movie is much funnier when you're in college. Good, but hilarious when watching it with other ppl that have no lives. I don't have a car and there's no theater near the campus so I don't get to see many new ones.

The last movie I saw was an anime film. I had never seen one before that and was pretty skeptical since I thought anime was all Pokemon and shit but this movie kicked so much ass. It was called Akira. I never expected all the gore and violence. It was basically a science fiction action film that was animated. I'll have to find more like this.

It kinda sucked...the special effects were cool though. And there were some interesting philosophical ponderings.

I saw "The Polar Express" last night. It was a nice movie that I was able to sit down (in an unheated theater) and enjoy Nothing really spectacular about it, but it was pleasant. It's also Youth-safe, in my opinion.

Last movie I saw...hmmm...It was Aliens vs Predator (which was pretty good, considering). That I really liked? Shaun of the Dead! That movie is still one of the funniest I've ever seen!

By the way, the Animatrix was very good, especially the Second Rennaisance Pts 1 & 2, and the Detective Story.

I also watched The Life of Brian a few days back, which was very funny as well

I just watched The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of All Time. I liked it, it was basically a bunch of short films featuring Radiohead music and there was one that featured the Tripti Ensemble Crew. Very weird but good.
