Caught Zombieland yesterday--hilarious movie. I wouldn't rank it up there with Shaun of the Dead or Army of Darkness, but definitely worth the price of admission.

Capitalism: A Love Story
Lots of appeal to emotion, but humorous and insightful. Michael Moore isn't
bashing the system of capitalism so much as he targets the bankers and big
business that's responsible for reducing the American standard of living. I'd say
it's definitely worth seeing. Much of it rings true to what I'm seeing already
(friends getting laid off for cheaper labor, bad management hired because of
the kind of work they're willing to do, friends losing homes to banks, etc).
Shaun of the Dead - Comedy, Symmetry, much better than I thought it'd be. [/late]
Risky Buisness....again.

AWESOME!
Ghost Town.... very cute, funny, watchable. Anything with Ricky Gervais in it is usually good.
Let The Right One In
It was awesome :3
I saw Marley and Me this weekend.
Not what I thought it would be, but I don't mean that in a bad way.
It's really long, I'm betting 2 or 2.5 hours long, and a lot more of a story than the previews advertised.
A good movie IMO.
My mom actually cried at the end.
The Graduate.
It was really good, but I don't get why Dustin Hoffman got so much praise over his performance and an Oscar nomination. What was so great about it? I mean, he did a good job, but an Oscar nod???
Zombieland. Was better than I thought it would be, and I expected a lot.
The Descent
Decent horror movie, not sure why it's being hailed as a modern day classic though.
Revolutionary Road
Great character piece, I highly recommend this. Leonardo and Kate Winslet were spectacular.
Quarantine
Very entertaining, really creepy.
Where The Wild Things Are
4/5 stars
The 9th gate last weekend. It's boring to some people, as it is a drama, but I liked it a lot.
the matrix reloaded
awesome like always
Nightmare on Elm Street 1, 2 & 3 - Still great. Freddy is one of the best villains ever.
Cube 2: Hypercube - Eh. It was ok. I haven't seen the first one in like a decade, but I remember it being better than this one.
Started watching Fractured, but fell asleep.
Watched most of Sahara a couple of hours ago. Looked fun, but loooong.
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
and Blazing Saddles.
Lots of fun~
Drag me to Hell
I wanted to throw up at times but the ending made up for it! :D
Horrible SciFi movie called Wolvesbaine or something like that... Spelled wrong (Wolfsbane, I miss you <3)
Not bad to make fun of. Really just a horrible movie. Very similar to Underworld.
Apocalypse Now: Redux
Going into it, I had no idea it would drag on for almost 3 1/2 hours, but it was damn good. The cinematography was absolutely BREATH TAKING!! This is a gorgeous movie to look at. The cast is solid: Marlon Brando, Martin Sheen, Dennis Hopper, Laurence Fishburne, Robert Duvall, and even Harrison Ford has a small role. The highlight of the movie for me was definitely Robert Duvall, although everyone did an amazing job. This is now my favorite war movie next to Full Metal Jacket.
Close Encounters With the Third Kind
This one just didn't do it for me. I'm not sure why this is hailed as Spielberg's masterpiece. I'm sure it was way more spectacular back in the day, but now it's badly dated and pretty unexciting and boring.
28 Days Later
I really liked it. It was a good zombie movie and had some good action
Gonna watch the sequel some time this week
Alright so I just watched Tropic Thunder through for the first time since I saw it in theatres. Then I watched it AGAIN with the commentary of Stiller, Jack Black, and Rob Downey Jr.
The commentary was more funny than most of the movie. Just to hear these guys talking about the movie is hilarious. Downey Jr. stayed in character throughout the entire thing too.
Pride and Prejudice
*takes a deep breath* Oh, how this movie makes my head swim :D I love it.
We also watched Little Women last night and I plan to finish off the trifecta with "Sense and Sensibility" very soon. Oh, glorious movies.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
...meh.
Great visuals (when they weren't completely overwhelming), but everything else about the movie bordered on insulting.
Paranormal activity. Good story, not as scary as it was hyped up to be (only one scary bit, which to be honest, got my heart racing, rest had no scare at all)
