I don't have xbox live and my computer wouldn't play it for some reason it always brought up updates about it
I just got the game today and it's awesome. The alien is my favorite species
I will most likely rent it tomorrow. I've been hearing bad things about the single-player campaigns; the straight-up inter-species deathmatches are what I'll be playing.
The campaign is awesome dude. I've played and beat them on normal and then again on hard (except marine, but I'll start on that tomorrow) and I plan on doing them on nightmare difficulty soon.
Ya I beat all three on hard and started the alien on nightmare and it's hard as hell
Gaahh.. playing as the alien when hungover is not a good idea. :(

3) The best campaign in my opinion is the Alien once you get a hang of the controls. The Predator is by far the Easiest. You have a lot of health, Can Turn yourself invisible and have tons of different guns
4) The length, Gore is quite bad. You can only cut limbs and heads off. But there is no visible damage any where else.
haha no one can beat me as a marine when i get to play online :D. i got 37 kills in deathmatch with the marine vs 9 aliens and 1 preadtor. and had a 10 kill streak ah good times
Online is easy with the marine if you know how to block and melee. It sucks balls going up against a good marine though. You really have to switch up your tactics a lot to trick them.

Sounds like you're pretty good. Although your opponents must suck a lot of ass if they can't get close enough to claw you and kill you, especially since you don't block lol. Or I'm guessing you blast them at a distance.
I had a go with the marine in a free-for-all deathmatch. Absolutely dominated. 34 kills, next best was 19. Got a streak of 18 as well! I took control of the caves on the map "Gateway", and they just kept coming. A lot of the time people don't start a fight with a heavy attack, just a light one, so block-counter-shoot every time. It's also easy to spot if you see them going for a heavy attack, then just smack 'em. :P
I've had a lot of trouble getting good with the Alien. I mostly rely on extremely fast attacks from behind- but even then, the only way to guarantee a kill is an execution move, which leaves you vulnerable. Next thing you know, somebody else is behind you with their fist in your ass. I've seen comical "execution trains" of 3/4 people build up, with people just lining up behind each other to execute and get executed. :lol:

And it is really funny when you see a conga line of aliens and predators all going for a stealth kill lol.
J.D. Your best killstreak is 18. Wow. The best I have so far is 11. I got 14 or 15 in the demo though.
I got 17 the time I played. And I died twice as the marine A stealth kill by the preadtor was what got me.
