Please answer my question first: Do you think that voting is a viable way of shrinking the state?

The state gets phased out with technological progress. It's already losing its role in controlling the money supply with cryptocurrencies. Free online education will eliminate the Department of Education. Once 3D printing matures to the stage where it's able to print food and medicine, the FDA will be phased out. Ubiquitous video recording and information openness will expose corruption in the government, eliminating the military industrial complex. Eventually people will realize they don't even need the government.
Oh, what countries are above that? Your post seems a good bit insulting and confrontational. Maybe you should have a talk with yourself? I hope you are educated enough to be aware of how diverse the United States is. Painting the U.S. population with such a broad brush is pretty ridiculous.
I think it is. If enough people go Libertarian, no amount of corruption will be able to stop the movement. Ron Paul got big but was still pretty underground. When we get somebody many times more popular than Ron Paul, which I think we might not too long from now because the government is getting more and more transparent by the day, there will be no way to stop him without starting a war with the public. I do think we are hauling ass toward totalitarianism, but I think an awakening is probably on the horizon. I watched society figure out that professional wrestling is fake. Figuring out that the Republicratic/Demoblican Party is fake is something I have hope society is going to do.
As bizarre as that idea is, I think you might be onto something. The future is going to be insane.
And so it begins here....Police make arrests in Toronto, Peel, Hamilton raids | CP24.com
These are 3 regions! 12 warrants to raid guns!? Sounds like they were waiting for the right time to catch these dudes?

I suppose a cheese grater is also effective at removing dirt from water.
Looks like the USA is going into Syria now.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the oil rich wells. ?
Here is a bit of a puzzle ( For me anyway )
American president is supposedly trying to take some high end firearms off the market.
Goes against gun lobby, and speaks out against firearms, etc.
American public now in a frenzy, buying up all amunition available.
Firearms company sales are higher than they were before presidents statements.
Is this a sly backward technique to help the gun manufacturing industry, as they are laughing all the way to the bank.
PM Stephen Harper steps up attack on Justin Trudeau over terrorism - The Globe and Mail
> Liberal party leader says we need to explore the underlying cause of the terrorism attempt in Montreal
> Conservative Prime Minister says fuck that, the turrists obviously just hate us 4 r freedomz
> Conservative party passes the Combating Terrorism Act, a bill that would give additional police powers at the cost of civil liberties
Harper's been ruining our country the moment he stepped into office. His party is the most unCanadian party around... they're Americanizing everything. Healthcare, prisons, drug policies, etc.

This is loosely connected to the US since this suspected terrorist was allegedly targeting a train that would have reached the US.
@ O: Should we post things relating to Canada in this thread as well, or would you prefer having a separate topic for the erosion of civil liberties in Canada?
R.I.P. Ted:
Probably one of the best pieces FAUX has ever done:
Here are a few statements to help / hinder this subject.
Terror is caused by countries that the USA has invaded, or are sucking the recorces from. ( Y / N )
Jealousy over American freedom is the worst reason any fool ever made up as an excuse for bombings. ( Y / N )
Take a hint from another part of the world
There are arab leaders that accept the oils is running out.
They are now spending their trillions on making their country the most popular destination in the world.
They are building islands that represent the world, and selling them off to very wealthy investors for billions of dollars.
Building the tallest buildings in the world.
Best of everything that money can buy.
When their 'oil money' dries up, they will not be invading other countries for their upkeep.
America should put a few extra billion dollars into alternative energy sources.
Then you would have no reason to send your young army recruits to their deaths in oil supplying nations.
The cost of war to the USA is so massive, that it vastly outstrips what the money could do at home.
How much does war cost America each year ? in lives, and dollars, and retribution
I will let others answer that one.
Somehow, the greatest nation on the face of the earth, has started to fall down.
It is up to you lot to put it back on its feet. If not, your Civil Liberties, and your freedom will soon be gone.
Chatting about it on a Dream Forum may not be the best way forward, but it is a start.
So, how many of you, as kids, have ever taken mentos, dropped it into a bottle of coke and had a nice like fountain/gusher/overflow show?

I think this is a much better version of that story. The one posted is woefully incomplete.

With luck more districts will follow the leaders listed there and bring level-headedness back to discipline.
