This is a nation of immigrants. Proud immigrants. They all have parades commemorating their holidays and whatnot.. We even had a few commercials recently to boost sales for Cinco De Mayo.. That is why we are all fat and lazy, but not why the minimum wage is low, which is what the government would have you believe... The truth of the matter is the government is more two-faced than any con-man the world has ever known.. They let the minimum wage remain stagnant for over 5 years (closer to 10...) and then sneak in foreign workers who are PROUD to work for a living and support their families, even if for meager wages, no job security and obviously NO RESPECT FROM THE FAT AMERICANS WHO CONSUME THEIR GOODS....

It's basically the equivelant of this.. and this actually happened to me once...

When I was a kid, my mother used to cook three squares aday.. and not out of necessity.. out of LOVE, and genuine caring to feed her family delicious food that had more nutritional value than todays' fast food fare could even BEGIN to provide...

We (my brothers and I) would wolf down the food without an ounce of forethought, patience or gratitude...

One day, after again going about our ritual of destroying food with our intestines... I saw my mother looking quite upset... must have been 10 years old.. I asked her what was wrong.. And she started to cry and say: "It's not even that you all don't say THANK YOU every time I make food, or do the laundry, or take you to buy things, or help you with your homework.. I don't expect a Thank You card everytime.. But at least say 'wow, mom, great food tonight!!' or something... Just a snmall measure of appreciation so that I feel that what I am doing actually makes a difference!!!"

That really stuck with me...And this is basically what we are doing to these proud, hard working people... Exploiting their skills and determination, only to spit in their faces... This bullshit about the Pentagon unleashing military forces to go patrol the borders now is FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!!

If you all want to have a dirty car, no fresh fruit to buy, an unpainted house, furniture that won't be moved, and anything else you can think of that you would just be straight up TOO FUCKING LAZY TO DO, you should support this PREPOSTEROUS PROPOSITION!!! Otherwise, shut the fuck up and let these people live here in peace, and increase minimum wage because it's the right thing to do..

This country is SOOO MASSIVE, SOO HUGE.. WITH SO MANY UNINHABITED AREAS, WE CAN AFFORD TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE.. HARD WORKERS!!! But, it serves America's interest better to have what they called: GUEST WORKER PROGRAMS!!!

I saw Carlos Mencia talking about this, saying something like: "GUEST WORKER?? THAT'S SORT OF AN OXYMORON, NO?? LIKE "WELCOME!! NOW CLEAN MY FUCKING POOL, BEANER!!!"...

That is basically what we're saying.. They are good enough to come and work for slave wages here, but not good neough to enjoy the benefits (however few they may be nowadays) of actually LIVING in America...

This is a SAD DAY for us.. Our Kids are STUPID and FAT and our HEARTS ARE IN THE WRONG FUCKING PLACES!!!!

I agree. These people work for a living. I mean they WORK. They do all of the stuff that most Americans would turn their noses up at. And they're stealing our jobs? What kind of shit are people thinking? I respect immigrants for being the very backbone of America, and afterall...Aren't all Americans immigrants at some level? I mean, everyone has an ancestor who came from somewhere else. Who are we to spit in their faces? Anyway, I can't belive this is going on in America....Or perhaps I can. *sigh* This is issue is one that the Government got started anyway....To bring the attention away from it's other evil doings. That's my rant.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about what’s going on at the borders, so it’s hard to state where I stand. On one hand, I do believe that this nation was stolen, to begin with. I don’t believe anyone can rightfully lay claim to something as “their (our) land,” when it was ill-gotten. In this right, immigrants, illegal or otherwise, should be able to assimilate into our culture without getting the third degree from anyone. I can’t argue with that at all.
However, that concept seems to be lost on so many American people, that it doesn’t even play a major role in this whole debate, so for the sake of argument, I’ll go with what’s been at the forefront:
I have many friends and family who have come here “legally,” going through months and months of red tape and hundreds of dollars to do things the “right way.” I do find it a disservice to all of these people to suddenly just open up the border to anyone who wants to come in to the country and assimilate. (However the past is the past and I understand the will to look passed that.)
But to “leave the illegal immigrants alone,” may be to advocate unleashing a flood of literally tens, maybe hundreds of millions of “illegal” immigrants into the US over the next decade or so. I set the number so high because we have to realize that to allow “illegal” immigration from the Mexican border is to allow it on all fronts. You look at our school systems in bordering states like California and Texas and the teachers are being literally Overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of students of all races, which has to do with our own population growth as well as immigration. To allow an influx of immigrants of that size (“Illegal” or otherwise) could quite possibly cripple our, already wounded, educational system.
I’m not one to advocate economy over humanity, and I still don’t know exactly where I stand on it, but we have two options: Close the borders and enforce them, or open them completely. I think anything in between would be hypocrisy, and I don’t see that as a suitable answer to Anything. Given those options, we have to look at the economic turmoil we could be calling upon ourselves if we decide to open the borders to anyone and everyone looking for a better life. The grass may not be greener after a dozen years or so of an unprecedented insurgence of immigrants from all around the world (because let’s face it, if we open the borders completely, without holding folks to the same systems of registration and whatnot as we do now, it’s not just those South of the border that we are going to be taking in.)
One thing I definitely have a problem with, is every single time I hear the words “Doing Jobs American’s won’t do.” That’s BS if I’ve ever heard it. Some well-fed college grad from upper suburbia wouldn’t know a “job that an American wouldn’t do” if their life depended on it. (and I’m simply stating that as a generalization. I’m not meaning to call anyone out.) Remarks like that are said in the context of the speakers’ own standards of living, which means absolutely shit to many minorities such as myself. Many Americans now, of all colors and creeds, are still the hardworking blood, sweat and tears Americans that made this nation what it is today. Construction workers, Waste Management Employees, Cattle Ranchers, Warehouse crewmembers, etc. etc. What no one wants to finish off the thought “..which American’s won’t do” with is: “…at the Wages and lack of benefits being offered for those positions.” That wage is not going to go up, because “guest workers” will do the jobs for those wages. It’s a cycle that cuts back to the same basis; The Economy, which is a basis that has both positive and negative influences. However that’s a part of the economy that I may be a lot more willing to deal with, (having to be taxed for respectable wages for documented Americans to work those types of jobs) instead of the repercussions that could arise from simply opening the borders completely and saying “come on in.”
But again, there are so many variables to the whole immigration thing that I truly can’t state just one case, so I don’t have any real opinion how I feel about the whole thing. I really am not the type that wants, say, a huge wall or the armed guards on the border saying “Keep the fuck out,” to everyone just trying to come here to work for a better life for their family, but I think there are just so many more factors in this whole ordeal that many people from both sides of the spectrum are completely overlooking.

of course every single person in america, except for native americans, well actually them too, are immigrants. i believe people should be allowed to live where they choose. but we must remember that countries can only hold so many people before they run out of the resources needed to support that population. this does not really make me support enforcement of our borders, because it is not the only point of entry to the U.S. what does make me support enforcement of the borders, is that the way the U.S. is right now, illegal immigrants get free healthcare, education and free lunch programs, without paying a single tax dollar. i'm sorry but the citizens of the U.S. should be the first in line when it comes to these things in thier own country. when this is changed illegal immirgration wont bother me as much. i am against deportation of illegals already in the country though, cause they have no reason not to break laws again in order to stay in the country. in the end i wish there were no borders, but that wont be happening anytime soon :roll:

What bothers me is the groups of people that move here. And I can fully understand why they would want to. I would. But then they try to bring about their previous culture here. Fly their flag here, have their ways administered HERE!
Go back home if you like your culture so much.
Otherwise be an American!
