Gays In Public Restrooms / Locker Rooms

dude, have you been in the locker room of a YMCA? there are things in there that I wouldn't want my child to see, like old men that are stark naked wandering around. I'd sooner get rid of the nasty old men than the gays. And then I'd like to get rid of anyone who looked at me cockeyed because that makes me very uncomfortable. You can't make arbitrary lines of what's too weird and what's just weird enough in a situation where a whole lot of weird things are happening at once that shouldn't be weird in the first place. Just put your damn clothes on and get on with your life, and get changed in a stall if you can't stand the heat.

On the contrary, Russ, I love checking out other guy's privates because it makies me secure in my size. I like it when other straight guys check me out because well... it makes them feel insecure. It's not that I can't take the heat, jsut that gays are satan's little butt-children and they shouldn't alloowed in a place meant for cleansing... unless it's a concentration camp.

So let's see... gays are "Satan's little minions", and automatically evil. And a gay person in a locker room is automatically going to do something sexual -- if not, how could a child be "exposed" to homosexuality simply by their presence?

I'm kinda thinking that any gay male in a locker room full of straight males is not going to advertise his sexuality. And I totally agree with Russ. If seeing people naked were an everyday occurance, then it would cease to be a big deal, or a sexual thing. I really wish people (especially in the U.S.) could learn to separate nudity from sex.

Yeah, I think we would be a lot better off if nudity and sex could be seen as two different things. I mean, what's wrong with the human body? It's the most beautiful form of art......It isn't always supposed to be sexual.

Well I find it understandable why Girls and Guys lockerrooms are seperated: For the safety of the women as there are many tall strong men who cannot behave themselves: I wouldn't wanna be a swimteam girl having to shower and dress in a locker room full of Big muscled, Testosteron-crazed men. I wouldn't feel safe.

As for homosexuals... I don't know. I don't think they should be seperated from other men. They're men and I can imagine if a Gay guy touched me there where I wouldn't have it I'll simply smack him down to the Ground. I don't think if there were 5 gay guys out of 17 guys in a Locker room that any of the gay guys would even DARE to violate one hetero sexual guy: He'll be hit down to the ground.

BTW I don't find a gay guy touching a straight guy unwanted any more wrong than a guy touching a girl unwanted. Or the other way around. I see it as equal violations.

So I don't think there should be an Extra seperation of gay men, since that wouldn't be equal policy and gay guys wouldn't as easily sexually Violate someone when they're surrounded by 15 straight guys or so than when a gorgeous swimteam girl were to shower amongst 15 straight guys in the Locker room.

lets say that we did have 4 or 5 different restrooms for all this ... what is keeping a gay from going into the strait restroom? .. if no one knows that they are gay then nothing would stop them.

Umm....what does it matter???

I go into a ladies' toilet, say. There are two other women in there. How am i supposed to know if they are gay anyhow, without outright asking them? Not very polite, being as we are total strangers.
And like someone said, you'd have to get everyone who wanted to use the bathroom to fill in a questionnaire. Surely that goes against our human rights.
To be honest, if i go to the toilet in a public place, i don't care who's in there.
I go in, do my business, wash my hands and come out.
As for locker rooms, i would rather have same sex, but i guess i've just been conditioned that way, brought up with men's and women's changing rooms.
