Im defintely for cannabis use in moderation, but I have to agree with UM, ganj makes you lazy
It certainly makes me lazy, we play rock paper scissors on who has to connect the xbox, I mean thats lazy.
You'll notice if you toke on a regular basis that weed does eventually make you very lazy
The thing is that buzz doesnt become lazzyness it truns into normality, however, just stay sober for a week and youll feel different, revitalized, like youve got tons of energy. thats what normality really is
Imran there is a serious difference between smoking Cannabis Recreationally and smoking it as a means of divination. It can certainly bring you in higher states of awareness in which new ideas and creative ideas and answers to problems come to mind; very mentally enriching and practical in everyday reality.

Anyone noticed where my "Trip Report" Topic on psychedelic experiences has gone? You know the successfull one that had nearly most posts of this forum and stayed up high in the list of Topics for well over a year?
Well, They deleted it because THEY thought it was immoral. They being the new staff of Mods and Admins here. They'd rather avoid sensative subjects and censor them instead of discussing these issues like mindfull civilised people.
Soon, I'm affraid, this Moral Dictatorship will eventually delete this topic too. And any other topic relating to drugs probably too.
I've had this problem before, and I was treated in the same respectless, uncivilised manner: I wasn't PMed about anything, but I was suddenly suspended, because I DARED speak of Psychedelics. I PMed some goodhearted, kind Mods to ask what the hell was going on and got the mods and admins to allow and tolerate my psychedelic Topic.
Now yet again I'm being treated in a sneaky, low to the ground, uncivilised way.
So I'm gunna stop having patience with you: Mods & Admins responsible.
What the hell happened to common courtesy? Your forum should be Renamed "Christian views" Or "Conservative views" Or "Blind Views", cuz the problem that eats the essence of this forum away is the mentality of people who like to shove their morals and views down other people's throats.
And that while I've put so much effort in understanding and respecting your, oposing points of view; All I got back was another backstabbing.
I officially tell you to GO TO HELL. You heard me, those that were responsible for this dictatorial act of intolerance. GO TO HELL those that feel spoken to. I didn't come here to be taught what is "Good" and what is "Bad". I allready have a mom and a dad and yet I have my own, unique views of reality.

i love this forum because of its info on lding, but i believe psychadelics tie into lding a little. For me, drugs brought me to lding, so i find them really closely related in terms of mental growth that one can get from experiencing either.
same with meditation.
So SKA i totally agree with you but at the same time i guess they just want to keep this an lding only site. But since dreams can sometimes resemble how you feel when high/tripping, its kinda inevitable for the topic of psychedelics to come up once in a while.
i love these threads though SKA if you have any new news on policies or whatever that are changing in terms of psychadelics please post em. I know people like me or lamneth will read em lol

They probably deleted the thread because of the danger in psychedelics and the fact that some of them are illegal, not because it's irrelevant to dreaming. I do think there is some hope that they will change their anti-drug policy. Maybe we can organize a petition or something, stating that if DV will not be a forum open to free discussion, we we'll be forced to leave.

I live in the American Bible Belt. I can tell you for sure that fanatical Christians think drugs other than alchohol and tobacco have some Satanic voodoo superstition element to them. They have hysterical reactions to even the mentioning of them. I agree that business corruption has a lot to do with the war on drugs. I stand corrected here. Religion is a major part of control. But those higher up the religious chain who are moderating it are not really religious just using religion for control. If anything they are anti-religion. Which then gives religion a bad name from it's exploitation. The reason why these kind of drugs are threatening because if people used them properly widespread. They would start to discover aspects of reality that these people want to keep covered up so they remain ignorant and don't question their modes of control.
Religion has a lot to do with it but that's not the only reason they are illegal. They are illegal because most people don't know anything about them, people are brainwashed from other anti-drug people since the say they are born, people know someone addicted to hard drugs and therefore hate all drugs besides alcohol, morons think you're gonna die if you do psychedelics, or they think you're gonna fuck up your brain or your chromosomes or something, and some people thinkg you're gonna jump out of a window thinking you can fly if you're on psychedelics (if you're having a lvl 5 trip, this could be true). The list goes on... the false list that people made up to make them illegal to begin with.

Religion and Commercialism go hand in hand in today's world of Control.
I reckon that the Business elites, who hold most power and see their markets threatened by the great potentials psychedelics have, are the no.1 reason that Psychedelics are forbidden. (Clothes, Strong Cables, Effective, low-risk Psychological&Physical Medication and Fuel from Marijuana-plants, The ability of Psilocybin Mushrooms to cure Clusterheadaches, The potential of mostly all Psychedelics to be great Therapeutical, Psychological medicine without the high mental & physical risks of the traditional medication used in Psychiatry today.) One fool to commit something really stupid on Psychedelics is enough reason for them to make the substance in question illegal while alcohol, with it's yearly shocking amount of victims; Dead, Injured or gone insane, has never raised political questions. That's the 1st and Primairy part of the questionable druglaws.
The second part is where religion and society come in. The rules are made such and so that the political-economical elite's business stay in monopoly position with their markets based on "Problems & Solutions". Example: The people who are making most of the Destructive Virusses and Trojan horses are the same people that offer troubled PC users pricey Protection against Virusses-software. The people who sell and promote eating fat, unhealthy food(McDonnalds is the best exampe) are most likely to be the same people to offer you pricey "Loose weight fast!" products. It's a complete market based on this principle of Problem and solution.
Now to ensure their inhumane, monopoly market-positions, the Business-elite have found a great alie in Indoctrinating the people on morals: The conservative Church. Psychedelics ARE considered false gods by many fanatic Christians and because, instead of just banning everything that threatens their markets they also go about indoctrinating the people into actually Believing them too, their deathgrip on society is complete.

After my Psychedelic Topic was so rudely removed, now all other drug related Topics seem to disappear in a similair fashion. In this topic: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=46923, which I also fear will disappear soon in the name of Moral Dictatorship, DV-member The Cusp Mentioned how a totally Drug-unrelated topic by Aquanina was deleted because in one reply she only MENTIONED drug use. Isn't that rediculous?
As a sign of false, lied respect and false, lied tolerance they left my "Sleeping on low doses of psychedelics"-topic exist, because it doesn't speak of the wonders experienced in a psychedelic experience, that's why.
Something rather perculiar that came to my attention too is that, although they deleted all topics discussing amazing, Positive psychedelic experiences and every trace of drug-use mentioning, they left THIS one:http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=38125, which talks about the Negative experiences had on psychedelics (Bad trips), lingering around on the forum anywayz. How backwards is that? Are you trying to block out all positive drug experiences while leaving the negative ones out there to emphasise how "drugz are bad hmmkay"????
I was seriously considering leaving DreamViews behind me all together after they treated me so disrespectfull, like an immoral child and thought they could convince me that my Psychedelic Experiences were Sins and Crimes that were harmfull for children who read my sinfull posts. Well I decided to stick around anywayz because I am still a fanatic dream enthusiast and lucid dreamer.
But there still seems to be VERY little hope for the development of Lucid Techs and ideas; People read 5 or 6 posts of a topic, Reply once maybe and then forget the topic forever. Then they start a Topic of their own, with either a great idea, or a selfish cry for help and this Topic disappears just as rapidly as any other topic in this board. It's become useless and ineffective and impossible to set up one great idea to induce Lucidity with and actually follow through and develop it with other DV members this way.
DreamViews forums become less and less interresting to read day by day. If that stays so I'll leave it anywayz. No freedom, no wisdom, no teamwork or constructiveness. Very little keeps me here and it becomes less and less everyday.
It's a shame. Was this forum always as TabooCencor-ish as it is today?

In their defense, they did allow my posting of the Ecstasy documentary thread. Also, this one is still available.
I can kind of understand their reason for monitoring of what is posted if it directly promotes use, but cannot understand outright censorship and deletion of drug talk altogether. The mod's reasoning has been, they don't want Dream Views to be in any way held accountable if someone decides to try DMT or whatever other drug after having read about it on here.
Personally, I feel that if an individual has a proclivity for drug use that's their own fault, no one else's. Culpability for someone else's actions should never fall on a third party...
That's one of the big problems with today's society, everyone else is held responsible; the parents, the school, the government, movies, video games, the internet. God forbid, if the person who did or didn't do said action was actually at fault.
Mushrooms were only made illegal here last year and it's a damn shame. Governments fear the use of hallucinogens because they open your mind, allow you to explore altered states of consciousness and really tear down the concepts of capitalism and consumerism that governments so rely on to keep people as brainless, thoughtless, souless slaves. Alcohol kills brain cells...FACT. It is a tool to keep people stupid and stop them from asking too many questions.
I do think that hallucinogens have strong effects but the problems are caused when people have no respect for these drugs and do not realise they have extensive effects on your psyche...I think once you start to struggle against the walls that enthogens are breaking down in your mind you can enter an irreversible mind set leading up to the dreaded 'bad trip'...
I heard bout this idea they were trying to bring in in Holland...where tourists who want to buy shrooms have to go to a smart shop 3 days in advance, they are given non biased information..the pros/cons. They are given something stamped with the date and 3 days later they can go back in a buy mushrooms. This would defo stop spur of the moment consumption (when people may be drunk) and hopefully make people realise it is not something to be taken lightly. Has anyone heard bout this/think it would work?
