There are tons of conspiracy theories I don't believe, but I do think Kurt Cobain was most likely murdered. I don't think the police were in on a conspiracy to kill him. I think his wife hired somebody to kill him because he was about to divorce her and she know that she could become larger than life if he died. I had never heard of her until he died, but she was on a talk show rampage within days. She got extremely famous really fast. That is just the tip of the ice burg. I think the police are just lying about there not being an investigation, which is understandable. If the world knew the case was officially reopened and there was a full blown investigation, too many people would just assume that Courtney Love had Kurt killed and then call the police incompetent if they can't prove it. From there, they might say the police were in on Kurt's death or something.
I don't think anyone would do that. If I was someone's wife I wouldn't hire someone to kill them just because they wanna divorce me, that's insane
even if she was insane and wanted attention, Kurt Cobain was pretty depressed too, so it's also likely he was suicidal and just killed himself

Do you think Courtney Love would even be famous if Kurt hadn't died? She wasn't before then. She was the lead singer of an underground band that was going nowhere. They had albums, but they weren't selling much. Did you get a look at the cover of the album that was released four days after Kurt's body was found? It's in the second post in this thread. Notice the title of the album. "Live Through This." Courtney also has wavy blonde hair and wears a lot of make up. Keep in mind that she became the biggest new rock star in the world within a few months.
Also, Kurt's "suicide note" was a declaration of dropping out of the music business for a big part of it. When it gets into stuff about wanting to die, the handwriting suddenly changes.
There is controversy over whether Kurt had so much heroin in his system at the time of death that he couldn't even pull the trigger of the gun. Doctors have disputed each other's claims on it.
There is a very underground punk rock singer who is a total thug in L.A. who claims that Courtney Love offered him money to kill Kurt Cobain. He might be lying, but it's interesting in the midst of everything else.
I resurrected this thread because Seattle police recently revealed two things. One is a note found in Kurt's pocket when his body was found. The note pretty much says that Courtney was a bitch who was using him. Also, Courtney's father says he believes Courtney had Kurt killed. What is up with these friends and relatives of Courtney saying this stuff about her?

that's what I don't like about conspiracy theories... they sound fairly logical or evident
but if you take a few steps back and regard the whole issue, they start looking less logical and dubious.
everything you say kinda makes sense. But wives normally don't kill their husbands, and the police should have no problem to find out if it's murder or not.
the angle of the shot, for instance, should be different if it's suicide.
It's also possible that someone wants to blame Courtney Love for some reason
it's logical, but it's no evidence. If it was evidence the case would already be closed... in fact, maybe it is closed coz the police has already proven that it's suicide.
(or maybe they're just saying it's closed while they're investigating, as you suggested)
but it doesn't even matter anyway. It doesn't affect us, we don't even know Kurt Cobain. Nobody would give a shit if he was an unpopular person.
Instead of thinking about things like this, things that don't matter, we should think about things that affect tons of people, like corrupt politics, economy, poverty, etc
Ha ha, look at the other thread titles in this forum and see that I do address lots of other things.
There is no conclusive proof we know of that Kurt Cobain was murdered. However, there is evidence. I don't think Courtney did it herself. I think she most likely hired a professional to do it. Professionals know how to make murders look like suicides, at least on the surface. They do often mess something up. Also, there are tons of cases of wives having their husbands killed or killing their husbands themselves. Many of the women who have were gold diggers. The fact that two people are married does not prove that they love each other.
