Was Kurt Cobain murdered?

For those who don't know, Curt Cobain was the lead singer, guitarist, and song writer for the pioneering grunge rock group Nirvana. He changed the face of popular music more than just about anybody else in history (Nirvana's sudden popularity and the grunge revolution that followed absolutely annihilated the 80's left over pop music scene and the big glam/hair metal genre, and Nirvana is still very popular today.). In April of 1994, Curt Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home, and his death was ruled a suicide by the Seattle PD. However, there is a controversy over whether or not he was actually murdered. In addition to all of that, I know that his wife, Courtney Love, became a megasuccess almost overnight after appearing on every talk show she could possibly get on right after Curt's death. On the cover of her band Hole's album that got gigantic in the summer of 1994, there is a picture of a prom queen holding prom flowers and looking ecstatic over her new status. In their big hit of the summer, "Doll Parts", Courtney says, "I want to be the girl with the most cake." The name of the album is Live Through This.

I am not sure, but my guess would be that Courtney had Curt murdered for many reasons, the most important one being that she wanted to get ridiculously famous herself.

Shit, that was an interesting read actually some stuff I didn't even know about but since I don't know the whole story behind it, I would just leave it at that.

In my opinion, yes, he was killed.

It's just so implausible that he killed himself.

His success status was on top of the world, but his emotional state wasn't. In fact, he hated how successful he had become. He had severe problems with depression any way, and he was a major heroin addict. However, I think there is a lot of considerable evidence that he did not kill himself.

I have long since thought that somethings seemed odd. It is also hard to ever know what depths of the ups and DOWNS he had been going through with his addiction.
Am I correct to believe that he had shot himself in the head? If that is true, in addition to some of the other good points, a shot to the head by ones self with a normal length shotgun would not be the easiest thing to do.

To the contrary, with such a popular figure it would seem that the justice system would stop at no cost to figure out the truth if indeed they did feel there was any possibility that he was murdered.
Sadly it may also be all too easy to write off a junkie on an emotional roller coaster.

I believe I had heard that Cobain had been a big contribution to Love's song writing. That would not be a far stretch to be possible considering their relation. So where is Whole now?

The fact that he had three times a lethal dose of heroin in his system at the time makes any reasonable person question how he was about to life the shotgun to his head and pull the trigger.

Even if you consider the idea that as soon as he depressed the plunger on the needle he put the gun to his head and shot himself, medical evidence would suggest that the amount of heroin going directly into his vein would have immediately incapacitated him.

I don't know, the whole thing is crazy. There is another website with more documents, diagrams, etc. at http://www.justiceforkurt.com.

Especially creepy is a sheet of paper of handwriting practice that was supposedly found in Courtney Love's backpack after Kurt's death. That coupled with the clear difference in handwriting that the last few lines of the note Kurt wrote is weird, to say the least.

Nevermind. Kurt Cobain is the greatest rock star I know of. His death is merely the beginning. Legend has it he birthed a new form a human perception. The death is ritualistic.

Holy cow. I just noticed that I misspelled his name.

The first web sites I looked at spelled his first name with a C, so it's all their fault!

I am not a routine thread resurrecter, but there is new information on this case. I will put this post in a new thread if necessary, but I was hoping to illustrate that what we discussed six years ago just got clearer. I am very often called a crazy conspiracy theorist, but sometimes my views are confirmed. I think the truths of all of my conspiracy claims will be revealed eventually. It often takes a few decades for truths about insane events to be widely accepted. That is because the truth is often too shocking to accept right after the shock of a terrible occurrence.

Yeah, the Seattle police are still saying it was a suicide, but they at least reexamined it and presented some new evidence. I think they said the case is still closed because they don't want to cause too much of a frenzy though they want to let people know that they have not completely let go of the issue. I think there is a serious investigation going on. The truth will eventually surface.

I plan to resurrect my Sandy Hook thread when the truth about it is majorly revealed in the next few decades.
