Well, I consider that quite insulting, but oh well. This could go on forever. It doesn't matter. If you show me where you think I lied, I'll quite happily talk about it with you if you wish.

Btw, I can't help but notice your "No negativity" thread. I think it's a commendable effort, but I think there'll always be those who destroy any goodwill for the sake of it. However, maybe you could consider that there is a difference between a discussion with opposing opinions and a full-out flame against you in which someone viciously hacks your opinions to shreds? - which, by the way, I do not mean to do and don't agree with it. I'm truly sorry if I did that, this is an extremely sensitive issue with me. People should discuss things and respect each others views while remaining respecful to each other. People can discourse and not agree without conflict. It is the very basis of debate and intellectual advancement, to try to understand each other. Discussion is progress, but there is a difference between discussion and flaming.

Like I said, I am truly sorry if I crossed the line from trying to debate logically to trying to destroy your views. I don't think I did totally, but if you feel that way, I apologize. It's still pretty maddening for someone to blurt "The paranoia, the fear, the dark knight!" without making any clear logical point. I mean, just explaining a little could stop a lot of negativity.

Minervas, if you want to have an intelligent discussion with The Fishy, that's fine, but please refrain from personal attacks. If you are going to call him a paranoid liar, then provide your reasoning for doing so.

I have an issue with this I want to clear up. That quote from the song was needed because it reflected accurately the situation. I wasn't trying to have a conversation I just wanted to point out where I stood in relation to what he wrote.

Wavefunction let me get something else clear. I didn't call him a paranoid liar as a personal insult on his character as an individual. I expressed that I thought he was lying and that he was being paranoid in this instance from what he wrote. If someone feels like they need to know why i feel this, they can ask me sure. I'm ok with that. But it's going a bit far to say I can't mention what I think.

Posting a troll picture is also worse than saying I am lying or being paranoid. One is a direct insult on someone as an individual. Another is simply a free will opinion on what an individual has written and done. So this is a bit silly to side with the person doing the real insult. If I was insulting I would have said "You're a paranoid liar" because that's then calling them something negative then maybe you would have a leg to stand on. But what UM quoted was a song someone else wrote that is music and I thought it fitted. It was not personally directed at him literally word for word. He was not at my house for example. But the song was a reflection of the situation in general and where I stood in relation to what he said.


Also wavefunction with all do respect why jump in when it suits you to be so cautious of certain what you perceive to be 'unfair posting'. When 1 quarter of the active posting members in the forum here constantly bitch at each other in foul language in a style that is absolutely disgusting and worse logic that I ever gave against people that are trying to be very polite. What's the deal with that prejudice? Do you know how many instances I can quote where worse was done to people and you said nothing?

I honestly would like an explanation why you think that was justified because I am confused about your inability to discern the situation in what I think is the proper manner.

What he said are statements that have already being disproved but not if you haven't researched it or faced the truth yet. The truth is out there but you have to be interested in it. It's a fine line to judge someones conduct and then tell them what to do next as the other person may not see the situation the same as you do. Now I have explained why I think your judgment is bordering on ridiculous I would like you to either say sorry yes I made a mistake or no I am still correct (somehow) and then give your reason. Thank you. If you play judge you have to take into account the entire thread, what was said and how it relates, and then people as individuals not just one separate post from a quote from a song and then conclude yes that person is a troll. The way people are calling others trolls posting ugly pictures is bullying on this forum. There's no two ways about it. For you to turn around and say I'm the problem in this instance rather than the person calling me a troll, is something beyond my comprehension. I may not be a perfect flawless angel but I'm not in the wrong here.

I was not calling you a troll. I was just saying you are trolling in this instance.

You have called me a troll to my face before more than once. You have a strange definition of trolling and use it to label anyone you want to attack. And you have posted those insulting pictures not just to me but many others for no justifiable reason. You should be the one under scrutiny.

Ok, working from the top down:

While I think that calling me a liar and paranoid is quite hurtful, the fact that it wasn't actually backed your claim up with "what he wrote" that was a lie (bearing in mind that a lie is a purposefully misleading statement, and that's different from not merely understanding what you feel the truth is) was what really upset me. Also, I get the feeling that it would be a LOT easier for other members to take you seriously if you had backed it up. The fact that you didn't was the breaking point, that's why you were tossed into the "troll" category.

I would still like to know where you think I am making deliberately misleading statements.

It seems strange to claim that it was only your opinion when you don't actually say where I behaved that way.

That's your opinion. How does saying statements that you believe have been disproved equal lying, especially since you make room for the possibility that I have not researched it enough?

Lastly, calling you a troll after so many personal attacks on anyone without any evidence doesn't sound quite as bad as trolling. But that's my opinion.

And for god's sake, if we have to keep ranting on about this, can we purr-lease move this into PMs? THis thread is already practically dead from this fight.
