Nice Prophecy Ranma. To many a mysterious prophecy, to you and me and many others common sense. To see what is going to happen to the USA look at Western European nations.

We are all tied to the USA's economy and we will take the fall too. Probably sooner than the USA as we are, like many of this world's economically enslaved nations, a Bufferzone for the USA Militairily and Economically.

The same socio-political situations, mass corruptions and economical decline are unfolding here in the Netherlands and I and many others here have spoken of a civil-war to come too.

I've had the plan of escaping into the wild, to an autonomous island with aot of nature too. I and a couple of friends.
My plan is to build up an existence that is totally independant of any big society and instead is a humble, close to nature, self-providing society. Make our own elextricity, fix our own healtcare, farm and create our own food-supply, clean our own water, fix our own civil-housing, fix our own education and fix our own transport. This way the entire system of Mass-civilisation and all it's facilities (food, electricity, drinking water, sewersystems, healthcare..etc), which are all tied to a global Economic system that is like a sinking ship, can crumble to the ground around us and leave us unaffected.

They're good in theory, but not in practice. I don't like either system anyway, but if they worked like they were supposed to, everyone would live fine. The systems just don't take into account human nature; therefore, they fail. Well, communism does at least. Some socialist practices work out alright.

Currently we are Live seeing inflation to a high degree, where in any moment the whole structure could collapse. Just beg the chinese and indians to keep their american bonds in tact. Depth of 13 trillion nation wide + 3.5 trillion chinesse bonds + the rest..... gosh i wonder if tax money can cover this mess.

You would starve. I guarantee it. Do you have the balls to put a bullet or a spear through an animal and watch it die?

Funny thing is that like with each and every crisis in history, economical or otherwise, most people don't understand the nature of it. You do not really understand what is going on with the crisis, the sub-prime mortgages, and the insurances -made by calculations of some smart physics and math kids- making up the shadow market worth a few trillion dollars. Neither do I.

The disconnection of gold from money isn't the main reason of this crisis. With proper regulation, this system could have gone on far far longer.

Anyhow. Fact remains that all the doom-thinkers on this forum know jackshit about the nature of the crisis. But neither do I. I don't think aliens will buttfuck us however, nor will a totalitarian government. Thats still just silly to think.

In all honesty, like with so many things, it's pretty hard to say what will happen to the economy in the next 5 years. Impossible even. Like with so many problems in history, the only certainty is that people with little knowledge will overreact like little children.
