The most detailed dream that I have ever had, and experiences
Let me start by saying that I have been interested in my own dreams for some time. I can remember as a kid Lucid Dreaming (from what I can assume lucid dreaming is by my own experiences) into this crazy vortex reality that almost spun and was tiny yet large (hard to describe i'm sure everyone has there own definition for it) and I loved it. Ever since I was 11 or so I haven't been able to do it, but can still vaguely remember what it felt like. I only felt like this when trying to go to sleep as a kid, and possibly our bodies produce large amounts of dmt while still in a wake like state? I have done DMT before and relate it nothing like dreaming while awake like some people say (not to get off subject, sorry).
I have had very detailed dreams before, but never like this. Ones where I can remember crazy parts of, and you wake up getting that feeling of almost a natural high. I have done some research and this falling effect that some speak of was only ever attained after a weekend of doing mdma, and I was in a dream like state while in my dorm room, probably from lack of sleep. Marijuana has triggered crazy dreams, and I used to be an avid pot smoker and remember liking my dreams a lot, and related the whole kid cudi thing to them, night terrors, etc and loved it.
Now let me start by saying that I am 100% sober now, and I have just had the craziest dream last night. One where you wake up almost with a natural high. Now this was not a lucid dream at all, and these are so much greater than that in my opinion. I would love to have those half-asleep trippy moments like when I was 11, but sadly they do not come anymore. I have determined that children must have these very frequently as I did, but as we get older we forget and don't think anything about it. Only research has made me realize that these could possibly be lucid dreams, but I was wondering if anyone else can remember doing this or something similiar when they were a kid?
Now let me start with my dream, and a little background info. Sam was my best friend in 3rd grade, and we still keep in touch today. Everyone in my dream with the exception of his 2 brothers, and the random people I had never met were real (he has 2 brothers, they just were not the ones in the dream). I typed this in a word document as to not forget so I will paste it below. Any interpretations of this? And anyone know what I am talking about lucid dreaming as a kid?
Here it goes:
Starts off playing basketball, theres a midget for some reason.
Next thing I know, i'm going into the (old school, went from ps to hs) locker room. I go outside to get my backpack and realize that peyton has the same backpack as me, and we both have candy. I go inside and talk to people around what is not my locker. Peyton says that we have our candy mixed up and says hers has 2 DOTS in it. I realize I have the right bag. She tells me about time travel and this pill that she takes that lets her go back in time. She says eventually something bad happens but doesn't care at the moment. Gives me more info, but cannot really remember. (not sure what part this fits in - but I remember thinking I have a deeper voice like the one I do now). I am at the corner lockers at this point but I walk back into a row of lockers. I proceed to change into my clothes, which is shorts and a white billabong shirt. I go outside and we are playing a weird game that possibly resembles a game that we played as a kid, but high tech. I cannot remember the original game but it sounds very familiar. There are these electronic carts that you get on and it moves to the other side, but you can only go whenever a sound or light lights up (cannot remember exact detail). I joined a group and got over the the other side. At the point in time I joined Sam's group. I proceed to tell him i'm from the future and try to convince him. I asked him what grade we are in and he says 3rd grade. I pull out my iphone 4 and show him pictures trying to convince him that I am in fact from the future. He shows me his gameboy color and I asked him if the gameboy advance is out yet. He has some weird gameboy phone device that didn't actually exist. We talked for too long and realize that no one else is in the room. Some how we go back to Sams house and the first thing I remember is going up to a pool at the top of his house. At this point a group of people start coming up the stair which are to the right of the pool, on the other side that we are on. Sam runs and says we can be caught skipping school, and these people get in the pool. As I walk off, the people inside ask me how everyone is doing. I say great, and they asked me about Barney, or something like that. They say something about being Robin's sister, and I say that someone (possibly Barney) is awesome. I walk over the the stairs (other side of what they were on) to get away from them. Sam and his 2 brothers (who actually weren't his brothers) are coming up saying his parents are home. I can hear his moms voice, and I see his dad on the stairs with us. We go down and the house is just absolutely crazy and trippy. Not actually his house. I proceed to try and hide because for some reason I think they can see me as who I am today, and hanging out with a 3rd grader would be weird. I am not sure if they recognize me as me. His mom acts a little shifty. Going throughout different rooms of the house trying to hide I guess, and I go into his parents room. One room in particular, we never went in but I saw as to have a lot of fans on the ceiling, each one different. I want to hide in their but they say it is to dangerous. I remember saying that I wanna go back but don't know how, but If I have to live like this I will. I remember saying I would go back and fuck a lot of girls and make my school experience different where I was the one that all the girls want. At this point I leave but I hear people coming up the stairs using the pool. Sam says that his mom notices his ceiling is different, like it is today I suppose. Sam is now himself today and not the 3rd grade self he just was. Now he believes the time travel. We proceed to go into this giant room where his mom is throwing a nice party. People are sitting around round tables and it is very elegant. I remember seeing a mashed potatoes on a plate the servers were going to throw out, but I said I would eat it and I did. Things happen from there on that I can't remember. I remember being in the giant room and looking up at the windows and seeing these giant dark spirits floating around. I remember peyton said that when you time travel, the other time travelers that have been lost (I think that is the consequence of taking the time travel like pill for a while) can go to the moment in time that you are. They start taking over bodies I think, but not sure if anything bad happens. I remember Sam's mom having a device she borrowed from the neighbors for some odd reason. It is high tech and can detect cells apparently, and I use it to discover where the spirits are. This is one of the last moments I remember, and woke up with my mind being completely blown. I have felt this way after a dream before, but never this intense. This might be the most detailed I have ever remembered a dream.
