Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a long time, but, I'm desperate.
I've tried everything!
I do not remember my dreams at all!
I've tried drinking massive water before sleep.
I tried repeating "I will remember my dreams" (This worked for a little while, then stoped)
I also even tried Benadyrl, it worked for some time, but then the dreams stopped. :(
What other methods will help me improve dreaming?
well, i dont know if you probably know already, but vitamins b6 and i think b12 will help you with your problems, im not sure of b12 though. but you said your having trouble remembering, when you wake, take about 5 to 10 minutes to think about your dream. if you get up and move around, you will most likely forget what you dreamed. ill try to look up other ways for you. but i had the same problem, but like i said, i just took a few minutes in my mornings remembering or thinking hard of what i dreampt about
Do you keep a dream journal?
If not, you should.
You may think that it's pointless to have a dream journal if you can't recall any dreams... but you'd be wrong. As spitfire said, you need to think about dreams first thing upon awakening. That means establishing a habit of waking up and immediately grabbing your dream journal, and writing anything that you can remember about your dream, even if it's just a few adjectives or the name of a place or person. Make it your intention to put at least some sort of entry in your dream journal every morning. In time you will become better at recalling your dreams, and the problem will be summarizing your dreams enough so that it doesn't take you half an hour to write them all down in the morning! Recalling your dreams isn't like remembering what you had for dinner last night; it takes a bit of technique and a bit of art ;).
yup, thats what i was gonna add. when you take those minutes in the morning, you should write it down somewhere, it should really helpQuote:

Get a cell phone alarm, or alarm clock ect. and set it to go off around 90-110 min after you go to sleep. (just in case you do not fall asleep right away)
Put the alarm across the room, so you have to get up to turn it off.
Set your journal on top of the alarm so you have to pick it up to turn the alarm off.
If all went well, you should have entered REM sleep when the alarm went off, and should have started, or just finished dreaming, and the dream should be fresh in your head.
Quickly write the dream down, or just put inportant details so you can remember it later.
Now reset the alarm for another 90 minutes and go back to bed. You should wake up again, while dreaming, and remember it.
When I fisrt used this methed, I remembered six dreams that night.
