Do you keep a dream journal?
If not, you should.
You may think that it's pointless to have a dream journal if you can't recall any dreams... but you'd be wrong. As spitfire said, you need to think about dreams
first thing upon awakening. That means establishing a habit of waking up and
immediately grabbing your dream journal, and writing
anything that you can remember about your dream, even if it's just a few adjectives or the name of a place or person. Make it your intention to put at least some sort of entry in your dream journal every morning. In time you will become better at recalling your dreams, and the problem will be summarizing your dreams enough so that it doesn't take you half an hour to write them all down in the morning! Recalling your dreams isn't like remembering what you had for dinner last night; it takes a bit of technique and a bit of art
