Fainting, dream like image sequence

it was about 2 weeks before school would let out for summer and then my vision would blacken every once in a while after getting up, i would then feel dizzy. So oneday in my dorm on a tuesday afternoon i was watching an episode of lost on abc.com and then got up and walked to the sink intending to walk out the door, i looked at my reflection and my vision started to fade and i fell, i then saw a wierd dream like image sequence that showed several scenes from lost, it lasted about ten seconds and then i woke up and my body was vibrating and i had to think a minute to figure out how i ended up there. What is this?

That's actually normal. If you sit for longer periods of time and stand up quickly you can faint (well at least some people tend to do that - low blood pressure etc...). Happens to me also. My vision becomes darker and my legs start to shake - and sometimes I even faint and drop to the floor. The "visions" you are describing can also happen.
