That's actually normal. If you sit for longer periods of time and stand up quickly you can faint (well at least some people tend to do that - low blood pressure etc...). Happens to me also. My vision becomes darker and my legs start to shake - and sometimes I even faint and drop to the floor. The "visions" you are describing can also happen.
