Probably, about, in a good quarter of my dreams, I am not myself, literally. I'm some other dude or gal in a certain situation. Does anyone know why this happens to me, especially on such a routine basis? Does this ever happen to anyone else? I had one of these last night, and the night before. Last night, I was a janitor for a restaraunt or something (a dude), and the night before, some lady.
I have a friend who is never herself in her dreams. I don't think it's common, but you're not the only one who experiences this. As to what causes it, I think it has to do with your sense of self and how you define who you are.
Really? Oh, that explanation is so deep, I don't think that I QUITE understand. Lucky for me, it only happens to me some of the time, not all of the time. It would drive me nuts if it happened to me all of the time. When I'm "not myself" I rarely become lucid, if at all. I was on the verge of it with the lady, but not quite.Quote:

I just don't really understand it, I'm not expecting you to explain it to me, just saying. There are many things that I don't quite understand, at least, I can't exactly wrap my mind aroung it.
Also, no they never have to do with video games. Just real life situations. I do sometimes play the video game (mostly sims), (my brain sees the whole screen as if I'm in it, but I'm not some video game person).
